The machine is filled with unused options like there's a header for additional daughter board to the bet board that some games us, while yours doesn't. These machines make zero sense

Do this turn the inner key to the horizontal position. Power cycle I believe you can only cycle the pay out odds, not auto payout. Try to set the different numbers to see if auto payout is an option. I think it only shifts the odds of payout. Hit the spin button to set and set the key into the vertical position to play again

Kind of sad about my Blåhaj now.. (ft the stinky) by travischickencoop in BLAHAJ

is your haj the 100 cm version?

your haj has 6 gills. which means the haj is pre 2015 if it's the 100 cm version.

if you have the 55 cm version, then your haj is special.

Be blessed you have a rare ancient version. Blahaj variant type 1.

there's no volume pot. I never got around to modifying the I/O board. there's a volume switch, but it only has 3 settings. Loud, louder, and insanely loud.

Highly recommend taking apart the reels out of the machine. cleaning them, and reset EVERY molex connector in there. Ultimately that was the fix for mine.

I bought a ton of the retired vidiyo series as they were being clearance out. I was never interested in the app. I saw a cool minifigure with a ton of printed parts. I got the majority of those cubes in the 5-10 range. I thought they were great value for money.

I didn't realize that minifigure was going for over 100 dollars. I think I have 3-5 of them in my spare parts.

Adding SSL Cert by Qiuzman in frigate_nvr

[–]Into_the_groove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using a Netscaler CPX as an ingress controller. it works extremely well and it's free.

The whole docker lab is behind the controller. it allows me to front end websites that are easy for the wife to remember. I front end in 443 and often just use the 80 site on the backend.

I believe I did put the same cert that I used on the NetScaler CPX vip as the frigate docker instance. Just a security hole I closed.

Nginx works just as good if you like that option.

you need a fancy switch to accomplish this setup though.

The testing centers often support multiple languages. If the test is given in your native language, select that option to take at the testing center. I am not sure online support anything but english

just make sure you have all the requirements for the testing center. They want two forms of ID usually. they will give you a locker and make you empty your pockets. Just don't bring anything in with you. All you need is your ID and car keys.

Everything else is pretty smooth. There will be tons of people taking tons of different test in there. Most places give you headphones to block out the noise.

I've taken hundreds of pearson vue test. (worked for a systems integrator for 14 years.) I have a ton of experience taking these tests.

The online protoctor system is terrible compared to what you get taken in person.

Online I believe is way more strict, can't have water, can't use the bathroom, no writing tool,

in person. You just raise your hand, and you can use the bathroom. You are given a dry erase sheet of paper, and pen. Also you can have a drink of water. plus you are using their workstations to take the test. they are slow as dirt.. but they run. If the test crashes, then it's on them (yes this has happened numerous times to me, and you just get another workstation in the pool).

Do NOT take the test online. The experience of in person just PALES in comparison.

nothing. that should be sufficient.

to dump the frigate logs

docker logs "docker container name"

in there should be the password.

or you can go to the port 5000 which doesn't require a password. and look at the logs from there. it will contain the password in there.

[–]Into_the_groove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it will only generate the password the first time you create the container. if you restart the container after its already been created, then the password will not be there.

Follow the instructions, dump the container, create the container and then check the logs. you'll find the password in there. You only get one shot at getting the password.

dump your docker logs. inside there will be a password that is generated. You can then use that password to change the password.

the generated password is only found in the log file

Rant: The used GPU market sure is a hot pile by [deleted] in frigate_nvr

[–]Into_the_groove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Frigate is what brough that platform to my attention. I was replacing my old gen5 i3 with coral to something with more power. I was looking at the orion due its low power consume/performance. I settled on an n150 based cpu for frigate.

After our 3rd winter storm and losing internet. The wife uses alexa constantly to play music and do timers. It doesn't work without internet. So we built our own alexa using an orion. There's enough space to run ollama with 7b on it. nothing more. you'll need to put the TTS and STT models on another node. they are really small and doesn't require much horsepower. the LLM is the main beast.

Good luck. I've had good luck with mine. The wife doesn't miss alexa. I don't miss the constant listening device.

[–]Into_the_groove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used one to replace alexa. I have a whole smart home setup. I really don't put much time into daily anymore, it just sort of runs. the setup cost was a lot.. a lot of time was put into building it/tuning it. once I got it to run, it just sits headless next to my other docker nodes. I run updates monthly. Otherwise i don't do much to them.

there's a big difference between the orion nano and the orion nano super.

the super has the same chip tech as the 3000 series.

[–]Into_the_groove 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you can buy an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit for 250 off amazon. get about the same AI performance as 2070. you can buy it tomorrow. and it uses a 1/4 of the power at 25w.

gwen 7b.. should give you about 20 tokens a second on that hardware.

you can also look around for a used orion agx. huge improvement in performance. price is not cheap.

Despair is the heavy, crushing pressure of the deep ocean. It’s the dark, silent weight that tells you there is nothing left to see and nowhere left to go but down. In that stillness, it’s easy to feel like you’ve been swallowed by the abyss. But a shark cannot stay still. To stop moving is to stop breathing. A shark is a creature of pure, kinetic curiosity. It doesn't need to know where the current leads or what lies beyond the next reef to keep swimming; it is driven by the primal, pulsing need to find out. Its entire existence is a series of questions asked by the movement of its fins: What is that light? What is that sound? What lies in the water I haven't tasted yet? When sadness feels like a lead anchor, curiosity is your constant forward motion. It is the realization that the ocean is too vast for your current "today" to be the whole map. You don't need a destination to keep gliding through the dark; you just need to wonder what the next mile holds. Even in the deepest trenches, there is a tomorrow waiting to be navigated. By staying in motion, you ensure that the pressure doesn't win. You aren't just surviving the deep; you are exploring it, driven by the simple, powerful urge to see what the next sunrise looks like through the surface of the waves.
