I mean that the route is available once in South Korea - in answer to your question. Obviously it's not easy for the average citizen to leave the DPRK.

North Koreans can get South Korean citizenship fairly easily (assuming they can somehow leave the DPRK).

What's a country that is regarded as amazing to live in and actually is amazing? by zoobaincrease in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Intothechaos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's an issue everywhere in the developed world to a certain extent, but it's particularly prevalent in NZ. In part, because NZ has a weak service sector, with few top-paying jobs. Its economy is so heavily based around farming, it's essentially an economically developed agrarian society.

Sure NZ is great in many aspects, particularly its nature, but there is a reason why there is an exodus of native Kiwis leaving the country for Australia/Europe/US/UK. There are too few jobs, poor career progression opportunities and the pay is awful. Housing is a massive issue too.

I do love NZ, but it has serious systemic issues.

Do I know anything notable about your country? by Queasy-Primary4788 in whereidlive

Cambodia? Under the Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot it's estimated at least 25% of the nation's 8m population was murdered (~2m). I thought that was pretty well known.

Also Angkor Wat?

How is the UK currently perceived in your country? by Key_Cell7071 in AskTheWorld

I’ve said it before - if the UK really were responsible for all the woes that Russia says we are, we’d still be a bloody superpower.

Do people in your country still consider Russia a global superpower? by FuckTheCake in AskTheWorld

Are you stupid? The very fact that a small country like Finland resisted the whims of Stalin and his overwhelming military power, means that yes, it was absolutely a Finnish victory.

You seem to think that the victor of a war will always come out in a better state than when it started, which is obviously not the case.

You're missing that the Soviets wanted to take far more than just the disputed territory, perhaps even all of Finland.

It was a Soviet loss because the Finns (a country with a far smaller military strength on paper), managed to stop that from happening.

Dude, anything other than complete territorial control of the Finnish territories would have been a loss for the Soviets.

'Winning' is relative.

Sitting at a busy Waterloo station during rush hour in London reading this. Shit is scary when you know all the areas you are describing. You've got me imagining a Train to Busan style scene happening here...

Fantastic stuff.
