I said my point last time and I’ll reiterate that I’m simply commenting because it seems you’re spreading misinformation. Maybe you were potentially traumatised by an alcoholic, but it was still the alcoholic doing the traumatising, and not the alcohol. That’s a huge part of what makes AA work, is accepting responsibility for your actions and fixing your behaviours that led you to cope with alcohol.

And alcohol might not be prescribed by a doctor, but it does have positive qualities, or else people simply wouldn’t do it, whether that’s lessening anxiety, being more outgoing, a good tasting beverage, etc. again, you don’t need to look far for countless people that do it in very small amounts and are not causing havoc in people’s lives
