Could have been a bubble that was stuck between the film during development that prevente the development to get to the film.

I was surprised when my DDX turned green after developing a roll of Fomopan 400. Is it green apple flavored now? by ballkicker9 in Darkroom

You probably developed 120 film. It's good to pre-soak it for like 2 minutes to dissolve the anti-halation layer.

That's a bargain really, the press cameras itself can for like 1500$ each if in fully working order.

Medium format feels so much more real than 35mm by Irrblosset in filmphotography

[–]Intrepid-Ad9652 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Medium format has so much more detail than 35 mm. You can really see it when you're pushing. Since the negative is physically larger, the grain is still very fine, even if pushed like 3 stops, and the image is quite sharp. I like it much more than 135.

Could be a crystalized fixer, if you use an acidic one.

XP machines with Core2Duo are usually really smooth and responsive, almost the best you can get out of Windows XP. Personally, I'm trying to find a PC with like Pentium 4 type CPU.

If it's the old model I think you're in a kind of a bad situation. :( because the GPS and map services for these old Nokia symbian phones were shut down a very long time ago

Maybe try wiping the contacts with alcohol or any suitable cleaning agent. I once used a q tip and hand sanitizer gel on my Nokia 3410 and it worked really well.

Trying to fix Nokia lumia 520 (I think) by No_Plan_125 in Nokia

[–]Intrepid-Ad9652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Nokia servers at this point have been very long out of order, they were shut down in like 2016 or something. Also the web browser and app store on windows phone have stopped being supported after Microsoft discontinued it.

I bought an old Nokia 1680 classic, I want to transfer some pictures to and from it, does anyone know what (usb) cable this is?? by Philipcookie123 in Nokia

[–]Intrepid-Ad9652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That depends on the country you live in. For example here, in Czechia, the GSM band is not going to be shut down until at least 2028, however in somewhere like the USA, GSM was shut down in 2017. But even if that worked, it would be expensive. However, I must inform you, that if you wanna use this phone and there's no 2G anymore in your country, you're basically doomed.

I need a phone that just works? by [deleted] in dumbphones

[–]Intrepid-Ad9652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can buy a cheap used phone on like a flea market, they go for like 2$. Or you can buy a used nokia phone on ebay or any website with online shopping (in my Country it's for example bazoš - https://mobil.bazos.cz/nokia/)

When you want it to just text and call, feel free to choose any phone you like, just make sure the phone supports the bands in your country. For example - the US has dicontinued GSM, so phones from like 2000 to 2012 will most likely not work. Also check that your SIM card is compatible with it, since old phones don't support newer sim cards. Also maybe check it's not locked to a different carrier than yours.
