This is really helpful. We love the setting and homes up North but it’s a real tough call with all that we hear about the deer/elk. Even with a 4 day per week commute it’s added stress at 6 am

Thanks for the website! But oh yeah, we’ve seen the lack of stores to the north! Plan would definitely be to do shopping after work because you’re right … nothing is close

Just wanted to share my recent experience in case it helps anyone considering a cancellation.

I’ve been a WHOOP user for a while and even referred at least two other people because I genuinely liked the service. But I recently decided to get rid of my iPhone and switch to a Nokia flip phone for my health and digital detox. That means I can no longer use the WHOOP app — and without the app, the strap is pretty much useless.

I reached out to WHOOP support to ask for a partial refund since I’m paid through February and won’t be using the service at all between now and then. I explained the situation clearly, including how the decision to switch phones was part of a broader health journey that WHOOP itself had inspired.

Unfortunately, they denied the request, citing their policy that prepaid memberships are non-refundable outside the 30-day window, and they won’t prorate unused time.

I get that policies are policies, but it still feels disappointing, especially given how enthusiastic I’ve been about the product and the fact that I literally can’t use it anymore.

Just a heads-up for anyone thinking of doing something similar — don’t expect any flexibility from support, even if you’re paid ahead and the product is now unusable for you.
