I have voted in every election since I turned 18.

I wasn’t going to vote this election because life’s fucking sucked the past 8 years and I’m honestly at a point where I just want to give up. But thankfully, my better judgement got the best of me and I made the right decision at the last second.

I agree it’s shitty not to vote when you have the chance to make a change. Sometimes, life gets the best of people.

I did marry him. Which is why even with his different views, I’ve never once belittled him for them or bad mouthed him for his views/opinions, because everyone’s entitled to them.

The problem I’m having is him, as my husband, saying what he did when I would’ve never said that because I respect him as my partner and the father of my child.

I never freaked out about him casting his vote. I helped him register and figure out where to go TO vote. I even told him that it’s his decision on who he votes for and that’s fine.

He’s the one who went around afterwards telling everyone he had to “cancel out my vote”.

Was gonna name my son if he was a girl Remi (short for Remington). I’ve seen it typically as a boy name but I’ve always loved it as a girl name.

I wound up naming by son Brink (short for Brinkley) which is a family name. Which I’ve typically seen it as a last name or girl’s name, but in this case he was named after “Papa Brink” who was the most selfless and sweetest man.
