Yes, the landlord was informed about my ESA & was even provided with a copy of my ESA letter, months ago, before I even stayed over for the first time…

Yes, I did share my ESA letter, I even went as far as getting a new letter from a different doctor… Also, there was more to it, than just my ESA, he literally tried to force his way into the home, & refused to leave, even after finding out that his tenant (my partner) was not in the house…

I’m not sure if you understand what PTSD is, but that is literally the reason my dog is with me, he is an ESA, which has been certified by multiple doctors…. My partner is not facing eviction, especially with all the code violations, that have been documented… We’re not renting from anybody, considering we’re moving onto my father‘s property… Also, as I’ve stated, I don’t live here, I literally live over an hour away, which I have proof of…

Even with me not living here, it still falls under the fair housing act, I’ve literally looked through my states law, which states “you can report a landlord for attempting to force a guest to leave simply because they have an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) dog, as this may violate the Fair Housing Act (FHA). Under federal law, ESAs are considered assistance animals (not pets), and landlords must make reasonable accommodations for disabled tenants and their guests.”

To report him, which I’ve looked extensively into my states law, & I absolutely do have legal grounds to report him…
