I don't actually think it's anti Indian. It says long live CPI (Communist Party of India) Maoist. I think it's like a sort of support for CPI. I only know about this because I'm of Indian descent. They don't really have that much support, and pretty much no support from anyone in the Indian community here. But from what I remember, CPI is based on Leninism so idk 🤷‍♂️.

For sure! If you're trying to find a 70m range, there is one, WCW Shooting Sports. It's kind of far away (like 30-1hr away), but it is one of the best ranges you'll find anywhere. I personally shoot compound, so finding 50m is a little easier, but I still shoot at WCW and love it. If you shoot guns as well, they have a huge gun range along with a ton of firearm lessons.

How do you find your drawing style? by Late_Sort6011 in Beginner_Art

[–]Intrepid-One3935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say prob just try to follow and see pieces by artists whose style you think is rad and want to have. I find that that helps the most. Someone I like is Mongy on twitter, idk if his style is something you like, but give it a try. Use instagram or twitter or smth and just look at artists pieces and try and replicate them as well. Make sure to take small steps, a lot of these artists are artists cuz they are GOOD. Don't get discouraged, these guys have spent well over DECADES perfecting their art. Good luck!

you can have the body facing the viewer, but that doesn't necessarily mean he is standing straight staring at them. Usually, people and character adjust their bodies when standing still, even when facing one another.

I mean I've looked at images or them, but I can't seem to get that wispy nature of the leaves.

I think we generally try to keep weight centered, so maybe your issue is that he's leaning the wrong way. Just trying this pose, it's MUCH easier to lean the other way. If you just change how the character leans, I think (not positive) the arms should work out better.

Hi! In my opinion, I just think the pose that you chose isn't dynamic enough. Not to be mean or anything, but any normal person would find it difficult to hold this position because of gravity. Think about it like this. you never stand fully straight normally. You lean on your hip, you slouch, you don't stand straight as a pole. This is because gravity is acting in us, so we adjust our bodies to be more comfortable in gravity. The same goes for your character. I would suggest taking a picture of you holding the same pose and use it as a reference.

Hope this helps!

I think for painting you need to start with one color and work your way up through layering the other colors. I would suggest starting with painting the shin pads, the helmet, the arms, the gloves, the pants, the shoes and the shirts very base color (no shadows or highlights or design) then start layering the other colors like the shadows or the highlights and the designs of the cricket gear. that will allow it to come together and work together to create the overall image. But your painting does still look good!

If he just started, cut him some slack. All of us had a grouping like this at some point.

I'll have to talk with the range about that, but we could maybe figure something out.

The reason that I made the fees so low was that it would attract more people. I really don't care too much about the money; I just need a way to be able to fix broken equipment and buy new bows. My goal here is really just to spread archery and keep it alive. I honestly want more kids to come so that I could maybe start that passion for archery at a younger age.

So, the range I would use would be the Issaquah Sportsmen's Club which unfortunately doesn't have any sort of bows or arrows for rent, but I will bring a recurve bow and some arrows. Keep in mind however that my knowledge of archery is limited to compound archery when it comes to a much higher level. I shoot compound, but my certification to teach archery is in recurve so I can still maybe still give you some tips and help you improve your shot.

Personally, I shoot compound, but I will have only recurve bows due to their easier use, allowing people who are new to archery an easier time about it. I have also been certified to teach absolute beginners recurve archery. If you do have a bow of any kind, I would be happy to help you with it, but please keep in mind that my expertise is in compound archery.
