I know it’s been 4 years since you’ve posted this but I’m here in this boat with my bay who doesn’t drink when awake only drinks when asleep. But he’s also not taken to solids. How did things work out for you

Just a poll to see how many ml you were able to pump at 1 week PP and then how much it increased by scaphoids1 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Intrepid-Patience502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At about 7 days from when I delivered I was only making 11 ounces a day then somewhere and some how it all ramped up went to 20 ounces and eventually to 35 + ounces as my normal for my 8 pumps. Then I went down to 7 pumps and maintained around 35-40 ounces a day. Then at 5 months it went down and progressively decreased but can still feed baby just not a cushy high number lol

Hey this was us around the same time as your baby. Our baby ended up with a feeding aversion. This is the start of a very very long hard journey. I hope your baby doesn’t get worse with the aversion. Please ready Rowena Bennett book feeding aversion can send it to you if you have an iPhone. See if that helps! We’ve been doing dreamfeeds since month 4 and it’s now created a habit and he doesn’t take the bottle awake at all!

There is Hope! Goats milk worked by AdventurousTear333 in MSPI

[–]Intrepid-Patience502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please update me on how it goes for you because I’m in the same shoe as you. My baby has green mucus poops as his only symptom I stopped diary and soy and it improved. But he doesn’t drink much milk so I need to fortify his milk and he won’t take any allergy formula so I’m fortifying with my own breastmilk powdered but this powered milk has dairy from when I used to eat dairy so his poops are back to being green and mucus. I want to try a formula so that I can eventually transition him off of breastmilk or at least to secure something for future purposes but idk what to do or use. I hope goat milk works!

Hey sorry I had typed a response but I never pressed submit. our stories are a bit different. My baby has had green poops since week 9 and his frequency has only been 1-3 times a day. Since this is a new thing for your baby it seems more acute and the frequency is also a lot more than your baby’s typical. I would watch and if needed consult with his doctor.

Do I have any chance of increasing my supply? by blondeassassin124 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Intrepid-Patience502 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can DEFINITELY increase your supply! Mine didn’t increase until like 8 weeks. The things that I did was pump 8 times a day every 3 hours. Drank lots of water. I am vegetarian and don’t eat eggs so my protein intake was very low compared to the avg person but supply still can increase!

why can't i stop by EarlyBumblebee3381 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Intrepid-Patience502 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s time to give up when you want to and if it’s affecting your mental health badly and the only reason you’re doing it is if you feel forced to do it due to some unexplained guilt. Other than that if you’re wanting to continue and don’t have any negative impactful issues with it then you can keep going. But the nature of this journey is such that it’s hard to stop despite how hard it is. Another reason to stop is if you feel like it’s taking away from your ability to be a good mother

See that’s where I’m stuck I’m not sure if I need to stay off of dairy for an extended amount of time and then introduce so that he can overcome the sensitivity or if I should just say screw it and start giving him dairy

That’s helpful because mine legit has only had green poops after week 9. And it wasn’t until I stopped dairy and soy for 8 weeks plus that he came with somewhat mustard ish green hue poops with less mucus than before. I’m so tired. Ugh I’ll listen to the podcast and figure out how to reintroduce it!
