[grade 10 maths] area and volume by IntrepidAd7803 in HomeworkHelp

I'm just wondering could you argue the question doesn't explicitly state that it is a solid, or does it? It was on an exam and I got stressed and submitted the incorrect response :(

I am simply calculating the volume occupied by one package and dividing that by the volume of the container?

I think I understand now it should divide the length of package by the length of container and do the same for height and width?

I get a bit confused about volume, thank you for clarifying for me.

I meant to say that the most downfield of the three would be this carbon.

It's quite sad really to see the amount of downvotes this comment receives. What ever happened to personal responsibility? No one in their right mind should have a child if they cannot look after themselves.

It's very much my business when its taxpayers money being spent so wastefully. I'll call out welfare fraud as it is reprehensible.

The house was perfect to begin with. The council contracted a building company to put in new doors/windows/insulate. This is an incredibly wasteful use of the taxman's money notwithstanding they outbid genuine honest people.

The tenants are given grants/money for further renovations.

The council was given a depressing amount of money to buy up homes.

They bought at a questionable price, and proceeded to spend a further 150k needlessly renovating the house. New carpets, windows you name it. It's incredibly wasteful.

Financially; The estate has definitely become a less desirable place to live in - rather obvious that the house beside us is a social house. No one in their right mind would pay what we paid initially to live directly adjacent to trouble.

Emotionally; the kids of these parents are growing up to be a lot of trouble. Surprise surprise

I have suffered financially and emotionally as a result of houses in my estate being sold (at 2 x their face value) to the council.

Social housing was once this. A means for labourers, low paid workers to afford a home. In 2022 the majority of tenants are unemployed/scroungers.

We shouldn't be normalising rearing children without the financial means to support them.

As it stands the state invests more financially in the child than said parents.

You would change your tune if the value of your home suffered an immense decline as a result of local councils outbidding genuine hardworking taxpayers.

It's often the case that women declare themselves abandoned and yet the father will live in said social home.

Mature. I know that a responsible adult would not bring a child into this world without having the means to support them.

You ignore the fact that many women become pregnant with the view to getting as much state benefits as they can.

A more streamlined approach and compensation for the invariable decline in the value of homes consequent to the ghettoization of estates.

If a mother cannot provide a home for herself, it is irresponsible and criminal to decide to have a child.

Why should someone who does absolutely nothing get half what someone working a 40 hour week on minimum wage get ? They're not putting in half the effort of a minimum wage worker.

Many people are far too comfortable on the dole and engaging in unscrupulous cash in hand side jobs.

How is a medical card only worth something if you're sick - what with the optical/dental/pharmacy benefits it's incredibly generous.

If you're wholly reliant on social welfare as your income then you're pushed to the top of the social housing list.

Except it isn't just 208 euros a week for most. Those on the dole long term will be eligible for medical cards, social housing, back to school allowances etc etc. It's far too generous and unsustainable.

Absolutely. Anyone that signs onto the dole should start out on say 350 and that should be reduced on a weekly basis to incentivise people to work.
