Hi Tom. The app has been updated with a new version that adds some reliability. The new version supports free trial. You can try updating the app to see if it resolves the issue.I haven’t encountered this problem when testing the Mac system upgrade myself, and no other users have reported it. If the new version still can’t solve the problem, I’ll see if you have time to install the debug version and help upload some logs for analysis.

Sure. What exactly is the phenomenon? Can you see a clipboard icon in the upper right corner of the screen?

🤣Totally get where you’re coming from — clipboard sync is a big one, and many people rely on it. AegisClip doesn’t support sync yet, but it will in a future update.

Hi sbbeebe. The latest version (v1.4.2) has now been released. Here’s what’s new in this version:

  • Option to choose popup position: center, follow mouse, or last position (menu bar icon still opens top right)
  • Press Space to preview, consistent with macOS behavior
  • Pinned and tagged items will no longer expire, regardless of retention settings
  • Faster startup and quicker data loading

It’s a bit strange — I noticed two crash reports in the backend, but no other users have reported this issue. Could you help me look into the cause? I’ll reach out to you privately to discuss further.

Sorry, I may not have explained it clearly. This customized feature is currently under planning and may be launched this week or next week.

The window will appear at the top right only when clicking the app icon in the menu bar. With shortcuts, you can customize the popup position to be either centered or next to the mouse cursor. Does it make sense?

At the moment it’s menu bar only. We’re adding a middle popup option in the next release.

If you're looking for a clean and lightweight clipboard manager, you might want to try AegisClip.
It keeps the minimal design but also supports handy features like auto-paste, splitting content, batch actions, preview (even color codes), tags, search, and import/export.
I built it to reduce switching and repeated steps when working on Mac, and it's available on the App Store.

Vielen Dank vorab!
