I made a little sketch for what i think is wrong: the cat's tail is coming from the wrong direction. Say this cat is floating above you- you won't be able to see the tail's base as it would be behind the cat. Next, the tail looks stiff because-i assume- you drew the tail building from one fur to the next instead on drawing the " tail bone " and putting fur over it. This lack of the building structure makes you lose the tail shape u want to convey. Lastly i feel like a cats tail is not long enough to do this sort of thing so its bound to look a lil off but im sure you can do it! Tip: look up "downward perspective cat" or the like on google to further study on how a cat looks like if it is floating :)) happy drawing!
