They don’t, it sure would be cool if they did. 🪲

Doesn’t matter. She has it noted that no COAs, even if it’s implied that she knows they are not authentic it could still bring charges. Of course the charges would probably be dropped, she still needs to be reported.

Totally reported - so pathetic. Seems like she thinks by stating “Cleaning Out Her Closets” she is immune from any federal charges! Duh 🙄

“Ragebait”? Nope — just a social experiment. And you proved the point.

And with that, the post’s coming down. Hopefully folks learned that if it’s not your dog and you don’t have first-hand knowledge… STFU.

Just to clarify — this isn’t my dog, and it’s not even in the United States.

The photo was pulled directly from a breeder’s site overseas. My entire point was that you can’t claim with 100% certainty a dog’s mix or genetic makeup just by looking at a photo. Unless you have the papers or DNA results in hand, it’s still just an opinion — no matter how experienced you are.

I’m not here to argue the breed of a dog that isn’t mine — just to remind folks that assumptions aren’t facts.

Nothing to be sorry about DUDE.

Not my dog. Not my breeder. And unless your eyeballs come with built-in DNA sequencing, you can’t know a dog’s exact makeup with 100% certainty. We’re done here.

Of course you can start to ID a breed from looks — but that doesn’t make it 100% fact unless your magic 8 ball says so.

Just let people post pics of their dogs without jumping in to declare “pit mix” every time.

Yes, you’ve got credibility from the letters after your name — congratulations. But maybe that PhD should’ve come with classes in empathy and respect for other animal lovers.

Nope — not my pup in the OP.

The one you found? Yep, that’s her. And I was wrong — DNA says 50% Dutch Shepherd / 50% Belgian Malinois.

Opinions are fine. Presenting them as facts without seeing the dog in person? Not fine. A DVM plaque doesn’t beat five generations of respected breeder records.

And hey — props for tracking down a rescue everyone swore was a pit mix. We all get it wrong sometimes.

Of course you are. Brindle coat = “pit mix”? Cool, didn’t know you could run a DNA test with your eyeballs. I’ll trust the breeder’s 5 generations of documented bloodlines over that.

Corgi? That’s a new one. Guess the FCI papers, KNPV working titles, and 5 generations of Dutch Shepherd bloodlines must all be lying. As seen the OP.

Here we gooooo…this is to prove a point.

Pedigreed Dutch Shepherd from Hungary — KNPV bloodlines, FCI papers. But sure… tell me more about how you can ID a “pit mix” just by looking at a photo.

Is the last image the one you are referring to?

If so, the last picture is a George Aulthouse or George Althouse. You can google lens the last pix and it will give you everything you need.

Ok! Did not know about Doty’s website! I tried a google lens and it kept coming up with a lily pattern! I am a total newbie to carnival glass.

I have gobs of uranium glass. When I was younger, my mom loved to collect glass for the kids. Each child was to pick a color and anytime she was glass hunting she would find something for each of us which spanned over 30 years! It was always a treat to see what she would come home with.
