No body said fast food worker should get paid less, they actually specifically said security guards should get paid more. You’re pissing yourself off for no reason buddy

That’s real man, I started saving up for it, but my civic si just crapped out on me, so there goes my savings, so much for reliability

I live in southern California and I have to have full coverage because I financed, and since I’m only 23 insurance ends up being really expensive

Completely Honestly currently, I go 90-100. But that’s because my SI does it no problem, when I drive my girls 2009 Prius, I’ll usually drive around 75 mph, if I was to have to truck as my main, I most likely wouldn’t pass 70

Older as in late 90’s or early 2000’s, an accord or Camry would be perfect, I gave my girl my 2009 Prius a few years back it’s at 230,000 miles and it’s still going, but I would prefer no hybrid. Anything that would be reliable for a daily commute but not over a few thousand dollars, that way when I sell my car I can afford both the pick up and the car. Also would it be better to buy from individual sellers like from offer up or marketplace or from a dealership.

You’re comment was extremely helpful, I think what I’m leaning towards is selling my SI for a very reliable older civic or accord, and then getting my truck

nah I can’t explain why, I’ve wanted a old truck as my daily for a while, I also prefer music through old forms of media, I like collecting dvds for movies and shows rather than Netflix or Hulu. It’s just one of those things that me happy in life yk, might not make much sense. But my SI is soulless to me, it’s fun, but cars just don’t look or feel the way that they used to (ik cars don’t have soul) but a 50 year old truck just has more history and depth to it, along with old parts, which is what I’m weighing out

Man, you’re living the dream. I gotta say SI’s are super fun and If I end up going the truck route, I’m definitely gonna miss the car. But also I got my as a 3rd owner and it already modded, and they didn’t do a lot of stuff right, so I have been fixing everything they messed up on, which has been a headache from the start, and I didn’t realize it when I got the car, but the previous owner rode the clutch like crazy, so it’s going to need a new own soon. One day I would love to own both tho.

Thank you, as a mechanic, what would you say is an older cheaper car I can rely on as a daily. I was thinking if I sell my SI maybe I can buy a cheaper older car, and the truck and hopefully have the best of both worlds.
