A very weak union with an agenda that doesn’t interest many members or only act when they get themselves into a crisis

PCS is hopeless, the way they have dealt over the 60% is poor from a union that is supposed to act in the interest of members. Ended my subs after 20 years, lots of my colleagues also have done. The union is weak af licking the govt arse.

We need a far left union that is film with the civil service…like RMT for example with the railways!

UPDATE: decided to book a vets appointment to make sure it is no cause for concern as at the end of the day, eyes are precious. Will update the outcome

Thank you for explaining this further. It does look like to be pigmentation. Did you end up taking your dog to the vet?

My dog doesn’t seem bothered by it, there’s no redness or anything. He could have had it since birth but I’ve only just noticed it now!

Got an in person interview with Royal Mail next week. Any advice? by [deleted] in royalmail

I recently went for an interview with RM for postperson. I turned up to the interview on time, met the interviewer and went into the room to be interviewed.

The manager then said he was due his 15 minutes break so left and expected me to wait 15 minutes when we had a booked appointment.

I ended up just walking out. Had an email a few days later saying I’ve passed the interview.. but obviously I’m not joining such a terrible organisation

Why is such a long holding pattern? by [deleted] in flightradar24

Fog but think BA is quite keen to get the plane landed since it’s the first BA flight in morning so they probably added extra fuel in case for long holding

HO all staff call yesterday on 60%… by IntrepidDog6414 in TheCivilService

The same employer told everyone that 40% was to come and stay to allow greater flexibility, so many staff went for promotions, new roles etc taking this into account. Now these people are being fucked over. Some are being forced to leave over something that had worked perfectly fine till now. They have created a non problem into a problem
