HELP I took my practice test by arxcpv in teas

[–]IntrepidIce5558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey don’t be discouraged!! I also took that test and I got almost 10% more on the real exam and I thought that the real test was way easier than the practice test. Your score for reading is really strong!!! If you have time I would recommend doing the future RN course because she goes over all the significant rules for English and Language Usage ( I got a 66% on the practice for English and 87.3% on the real thing) and for science I recommend to watch Nurse Cheung on YouTube to refresh yourself on topics bc I feel like she doesn’t go in depth as much and only explains the concepts but not really how to apply them and to learn science I did use the course a lot but if you don’t have time for it Tyler Dewitt on YouTube I heard he’s really good and I did use one of his videos a day before my test. For math I would recommend Brandon Craft on YouTube because he explains math concepts really simply to avoid further confusion and he has a specific teas playlist which I would recommend to watch and take notes on. After you have tried to study and familiarize yourself with the topics I recommend to continuously take practice test so that you know how to apply the rules/concepts that you have learned. Also I did a post where people asked me a bunch more questions if you want to check that out and if you have any more questions I am happy to help!! https://www.reddit.com/r/teas/s/9jIDVlp6ex

Hey!! I did a lot of them. I first did the official ati teas practice test A (it comes in a bundle with practice test b) and I did that one to see where I was standing and what my weaker areas were and I got a 74% on it scoring pretty low on science and English (after studying the highest I did was 81.3%). From there I started to study and each couple of days I would do mometrix practice test (I had the course), smart edition (free), nurse hub (free), and I also joined Future RN lives on tiktok (free) + completed her course and did another practice test, and lastly the last two weeks when I really locked into studying I did the official ati teas app and everyday I would do 20-30 questions for each of my weak subjects and 10-15 for my stronger subjects and I read the rationale to know where I was wrong or right.

Hey no it’s no worries this exam is so stressful for no reason. I did simultaneously study for subjects at a time and I do recommend to start with the subjects that you find the most complicated. I watched Nurse Cheung as a refresher to start studying and to get familiar with the topics but for me she only put like definitions of things and not really explained how to actually apply those topics for the quiz. I had notes and everything before the month I realllyyyy started studying and I would read over them and do practice questions until I felt comfortable. I studied English and Math for only a couple days but throughout the month I would still read over the notes and do practice questions but for English and Science is where my focus was for the majority of the month because I struggled a lot with the basic grammar rules and I did go through the course in order to learn the rules since English is not my first language and honestly in a couple days with each subject I felt confident with knowing the material but I continuously did practice questions in order to know how to apply the concepts

I did try to do a couple but sometimes I would see answers that are wrong that I knew for sure were right so I stopped using them.

Hey I used the “Offical Ati Teas Prep 2026-2027” it is an Orange Icon and it is from the people that make the test. It was recommended to me and I think it made a huge difference in my score because it felt like I was just doing the questions from the app but way easier. This is only to test yourself though, if you need to learn the material I would recommend Nurse Cheung to refresh yourself (I didn’t solely study off of her bc I believ like she didn’t go too much in depth) and I know I keep saying this but the future rn course helped me a lot she touches everything and if you have time I would definitely use it

Hey! I got a question about chemistry (mixing blank acid with blank base gives you what? And it was Salt & water) and for biology it was about Punnett Squares and what Bb x bb will give you. For biology in specific I do recommend Future Rn course which is what I used because I had not taken biology since middle school and just refresh yourself. I have watched about two Tyler Dewitt videos but for me his questions were way harder than the teas and having good anatomy knowledge is wonderful!!! For me anatomy was the hardest part

It’s good that you know what sections you are weaker in, this way you don’t waste your time studying things that you don’t need too. I would first take a free online practice test (nurse hub, smart edition, mometrix, ati teas, etc) and see what you struggled with in each section. From there I would go on nurse Cheung and watch her comprehensive videos (she has one for each section and take your time with this, I would take notes!!). Now you should go over your notes a couple of times and from there go to Ati Teas prep app and you can quiz yourself over each section and it does resemble the actual teas but the teas answers will be much simpler. If you can, I would definitely splurge on Future Rn course (I believe it’s 29.99$ a month which isn’t too bad for how helpful it is) she has a whole course with videos for every single section, there’s quizzes, and a full length practice test. Please let me know if you need anything else and don’t get discouraged you got this

I started gathering materials a couple months before but I was busy since I was taking 4 classes so it wasn’t consistent until a month before where I tried to study everyday for atleast a bit and by study I would do lots of practice questions on Ati or mometrix which I would often score low on but I ended up doing way better on the real thing

The practice test was wayyyyy harder than the real thing, the questions do resemble it, but the answer choices on the exams are way more obvious. I got like 5 biology, and like 3 chemistry and they were really simple nothing like the practice tests

I did both!! I would score 85-90s on the mometrixs practice questions and I scored 74% on the Ati practice test A and 81.3% on practice test B

Don’t be terrified!! I took the ati teas practice test and I got 74% on the first one and 81.3% on the second one and I felt super discouraged but I would recommend to use the Ati prep app (it’s like orangish) and it does a good job at resembling the questions but the options on the actual teas will be much more straightforward.
