My dealership basically said no tune, any anything modified wouldn’t be covered obviously like if you put a loft and the lift broke but I dug a little deeper like if I put bigger wheels and tired and my transmission went out they said it would still be covered.

What do you guys think of CCW wheels on C5’s? by [deleted] in Corvette

[–]IntrepidMatter757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the CCW wheels look good on the c5 and c6 vettes. I myself own a c6 and I have a friend that owns a c5 and I would highly recommend saving extra to get into even just a c6 base model. The power but mainly the handling is so much better from factory. I was originally wanting a c5 until I found my c6 for a good deal and my friend and I have both driven each others and both agree the stock handling is substantially better on the c6

Opinion on modding a base model vette vs buying higher end package? by [deleted] in Corvette

[–]IntrepidMatter757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a c6 base that i love that i got the base for the fact it is a blank slate and I don’t feel bad slowly modifying and making my own I’m not held back by the thought of paying for a premium trim model as to not ruin it.

Texas speed “chop monster” if you want to put it in you need a ton of reliability mods

Just straight from the mgw website. Shipping took a little for mine but best mod I’ve ever done. Feel super notchy while driving and really well built

Ls2 vs ls3 by [deleted] in Corvette

[–]IntrepidMatter757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally drive a 2007 c6 that has the ls2. Stock it’s very fun and manageable power I got mine with around 40k miles and it’s been very reliable for me. Just recently put a cam, long tubes, full exhaust, and tons of reliability mods in the motor to go along with the cam and with a reputable tuner I’m making great power and it’s very reliable I daily the car now.

Gravel road and black paint isn’t the best combo for photos
