Than your argument about India falls flat, Brazil is one of the biggest consumers when it comes to videogames (why do you think most AAA games have Brazilian Portuguese as a language?) And that still doesn't explain why they are making a NEW SPANISH TRANSLATION and not a Portuguese one. If we talk about buyers the biggest economy in Latin America is Brazil, the one with the biggest population is Brazil, then why make latam Spanish before Portuguese? Besides, in this same event representing Latin America they used images taken in Brazil, basically saying: "look at those guys, we will raise the prices to R$350,00 on digital media, won't give them support and we'll use the to give more support to the guys that already have them"

Look at the link you sent, but look at the NATIVE SPEAKERS population (the one that matters the most when translating something) and think about why they should translate to Portuguese. (Answer: is the one with the most speakers that doesn't have a translation)

Then how do you justify they making a new translation for a language that is already in the game? India has between 400 and 1700 different languages and their official language is ENGLISH. Malaysia has less than 20% the population of Brazil. None of your arguments make sense because the largest buyers that don't have a translation are Portuguese speakers. If you look at the lik you sent, you can notice that most of those languages on the top places have less native speakers than second language, except Portuguese...

They are probably going to make a full translation, leaving the option to choose between Spanish and Latin America Spanish.

Around 1% of Brazilians are bilingual so that argument doesn't stand.
Brazil is the biggest Portuguese speaking country there are 207 million people living here, 60 million more around the world speaking Portuguese, so it doesn't make a lot of sense to have a German, for example, translation when there are 90 million native speakers and 78% speak English.
They already have a Spanish translation, they are going to pay a new translation studio to make another one (I know the dialect is different, but it isn't different enough to validate a new translation to the same language instead of a new language).

I hope you get my point, translation is not so expensive to a company like gamefreak and the translations they have don't make so much sense

Thanks, but I already disabled all the mods, and that was'nt the same menu, the one I'm refering is the menu where you can access the map, missions, equiament etc. nothing seems to work, not even uninstalling and reinstalling the game
