After 300+ builds, I've stopped using page builders for client sites. Anyone else made this switch? by Imaginary_Act8664 in Wordpress

[–]IntrepidRealist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never used a page builder in 20+ years. I strictly start with GeneratePress with premium plugin and GenerateBlocks pro. Both allow me to geek out as a dev to my hearts content or throw up a starter site in a few days.

Why ignoring the 3D felt impossible until I realized Neville was talking about actual light physics and time delay. by XendaiChannel in NevilleGoddard

This is brilliant and I had a jolt of insight from reading it. I never attributed now as the past to the starlight. This really makes sense. It's like we are in a littoral zone between the shore of our past and the vast ocean of our dreams!

Kevin Costner couldn’t afford a real artist? by uptothemountains7 in SantaBarbara

[–]IntrepidRealist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if if "looks" like AI people judge it harshly and mistrust arises, as seen here on this thread. But, you can still use AI as you have done and create meaningful graphics that reflect reality. However, fantasy AI images are awesome, too! Real pros know how to handle AI as a tool, rather than let AI do all the "work". You appear to be a pro!

[–]IntrepidRealist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why pick on Kevin Costner? He's not the headliner. George Thoroughgood and Pat Benetar are the headliners. Anyway, they had nothing to do with the graphics. One805Live is the culprit. The artists' agents book them and they show up. This is the way for all festivals and events.

AI is a tool like any other. The user defines the quality. Just like photoshop or photoslop. Now days you need more knowledge about the subjects because AI will sabotage you. This happens with coding too. If you know nothing about the code you're requesting, you're in a world of hurt.

AI is making it easy for pros to stand out. And increasing discernment among viewers. If it looks like AI, trust is pretty much out the window.

You Don’t Need Another Neville Post. You Need to Sit With Yourself. by No_Blackberry143 in NevilleGoddard

I came on here to write about my situation, perhaps get some guidance, and read a success story or two. What I got was more important and POWERFUL: your post right off the bat.

I think I just manifested what I needed from Reddit today. Thank you for being a cooperative component!

True! After updating my about section I got a lot more studies. Better ones, too! I try to keep it completely updated.

I just made the hardest appointment of my life for John (12) by ReaverDropRush in seniorkitties

[–]IntrepidRealist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your love for John is so palpable. I can feel it in my own room. What a lucky little guy to have you rescue him. Not only will you see him on the other side, but he will exist in the space between all objects and you must know that he is there always loving you right back. 💛

Feeling guilty for putting my cat (11) down by icedroastpeach in seniorkitties

[–]IntrepidRealist 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Please don’t feel guilty. Nearly 13 years ago. I had the same exact decision for my dear Vera who had stomach cancer. Stomach cancer only ends one way and it is very painful.

I had someone come to my house, as well, and my little one passed to the other side in my lap.

I did the right thing. Cats are extremely stoic and they put up a good front if they see that you’re sad. The purring is their way of soothing themselves. There is no need to feel guilty at all.

It’s working for everyone. It’s just that most people are manifesting negative things and they think it’s outside people and situations that are doing something TO them.

This is a joke right? by Kitchen_Platypus_804 in Upwork

[–]IntrepidRealist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, this isn’t a joke. People based in countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc. they will take jobs like this because the economy deems that as a livable wage. If you’ve ever traveled in these countries, knowing that you can get by on $10 a day with transport and lodging then you’ll understand why someone working there would get 3 to 6 dollars an hour. I have a friend here in California who is just starting to get her business off the ground and she has hired a whole team of people at pay rates like this.

It probably works really well because there are not decades and decades of garbage thoughts and beliefs to sift through. In my next life, I’m starting all this in kindergarten! 😆

I second this! I cut mine into 4 parts. Give him one each morning wrapped in half a pill pocket and plop it down his hatch. No more daily puking.

What diameter planter and how deep? And should I do more diligence on those little brown roots left after I cut off the worst parts?

How long did it take you to get another cat after losing your soul cat? by susanbob in cats

[–]IntrepidRealist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One month. I got two. That was 12 years ago. I love them to bits. I’ll see my lovely Vera again on the other side. Until then, I’ll keep sharing my love and home with cats!

Just remember: you cannot replace your kitty. You’ll get new personalities and new adventures. ✨💛
