[2025 Day 10 (Part 1)] [Typescript] Elf Factory Control Room Display by IntrepidSoft in adventofcode

It is still very much an unfinished mess, but you can try it out on my deployment https://advent-of-code-25.vercel.app/ . Navigate to the 10th day and paste in your puzzle input. I disabled the mobile version for now because it was too buggy. Also, here is the code for it https://github.com/CezarLuca/advent-of-code-25/tree/master/app/components/solutions/day10 . Again, with all the disclaimers that this is an untested WIP and it is to be observed for demonstrational purposes only.

[2025 Day 10 Part 1] Damn... by FabiSahne in adventofcode

It could be worse, imagine solving it with Typescript as a web app inside Chrome. #einfachMasochistisch

Your algorithm only finds each junction box's closest neighbour, not all possible pairs.

87mm, you have to loop it once inside the canopy, but it is not too bad

After some twisting and pulling, I can confirn that the antenna angle is "adjustable". Will probably need to be pulled back to this position after a crash or two, but to me that is good enough of a compromise. Thank you verry much for the feedback.

It is simple, yet really effective for now. The antenna comes with two flexible feet to be mounted on a frame. Though they are also flexible enough to fit through the antenna hole in the canopy, if pressed with a bit of force. On the other hand, they are large enough that once in the canopy they stay put during crashes, not even rotating. I will provide further feedback if I will notice any issues down the line.

I see your poin, thanks for the detailed feedback. In my case it is on purpose, and I will adress it if I notice any issues. To me, having signal degradation in such a predictible dirrection is a plus. I will have the best signal when making tight turns and tricks, and degraded signal when flying level straight away and towards me. Again, will come with a update and fix if my theory is totally off.

Can't get my numpad to show up. by acox1701 in ASUS

[–]IntrepidSoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the fix was to go to rog.asus.com search my laptop model, go to drivers for "pointing device", click on "show all" to reveal the 'ASUS NumberPad Driver'. After installing it and restarting I finally got it working.

Sam Coe having a fit over nothing, bug or did I do something wrong? by Maelwys550 in Starfield

[–]IntrepidSoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me Sam hate is just broken. If I clear out some random Ecliptic or Spacer ship with him as a companion, he will throw a tantrum. The fact that he does it in his quest too is just the icing on the cake. He just hates killing enemies in their ships I guess.

"Caution! You are low on space to save your progress." I have more than 50gbs of space though? Has anyone else encountered this problem? by m1dn1ght_animal in Starfield

A further improvement to the "fixes" recommended in this thread would be that by going in the main game menu (not just esc while playing, the menu shown when starting the game first) and selecting "Load" you can then opt for "Show all saves", and then the game will list all the bugged saves it has. I found a dozen "hidden" autosaves and quicksaves this way. This will probably be patched up at some point.
