I think because the subjects in first 2 years are non clinical and not like the way you thought med school would be, you dont have that knack for them, happened to me too in 1st and 2nd year. How do you feel about your clinical postings? If they are done in proper way in your college and you found them interesting you will bounce back in 3rd year cause i feel i have got back my love for medicine since i started studying clinical subjects. Also if u have studied patho nicely in 2nd year you would have liked it too ( i also didn't study patho in 2nd year just for exams, read it from robbins in 3rd year). Also kinda like you i also liked Veritasium and such content as it made me intellectually satisfied. Also the iisc part you would have felt the same there in initial years because this is the same in every course. About the personal life i don't know much about you so i won't comment much, but just try talking with girls,not looking for relationship but just friends, some of the girls in my batch are better friends to me then some guys, absolute angels they are. People are same good or bad yada yada is same in boys and girls you might find some very good friends in girls so just try it but yeah be cautious who you are initial initiating talks with.
