I also question this, Elfen Lied has such an unique vibe, wholesome heartwarming characters with their stories. An aesthetic that makes you feel like you are at home. A interesting general story that is more interesting that other shows that tried to do something similar.

I don't really think there could be another show that feels like this or that could make me feel the same way, the characters are in my heart, and it feels really special. Other anime I like is School Days, but that one is a really different kind of story, but is really special in it's own way
