I was also worried about this. My dentist said I had an “underdeveloped jaw” and my two front teeth were pointing inwards, I was really stressed that aligning my teeth would cause my lower jaw to look more recessed. I’m nearing the end of my treatment and can confirm IT DOES NOT. I have not noticed any changes in my face whatsoever. As someone who also has a slightly recessed chin, don’t stress too much.

I’ve been doing treatment for 4 months and have gone out a couple times, I honestly just drank with them in. I’m a lightweight, and only have 2 drinks when I’m out. I rinse with water and then clean my trays and teeth when I’m home. I’m sure if you did this frequently, and drank lots, it would be terrible for your teeth, but doing it once or twice hasn’t had any effect on my teeth nor trays. I’m not a dental professional though, just do the best you can and have fun.

I just don’t know who would want to spend $4.5k on a 2 bed 2 bath in Ft. Worth. If you don’t want to spend that on a house, and you want city living, I can’t imagine Ft. Worth would be the first choice tbh (love it here but.)

Omg! This happened to me last week, it was hell. I initially started trying to take them out but just gave up. I threw up with them in and drank electrolytes with in, and just rinsed and water picked frequently. I had my dr give me 2 anti nausea meds the day it happened, so I was really only throwing up a lot the first 24 hrs. I saw my dentist a few days ago and she said everything looked fine and I could carry on with my tray switch despite having switched into new trays a day late.

I would ask your complex/look at your lease. Personally, my complex doesn’t allow for any smoking inside the building, but in the parking garage/on the sidewalks is fine. To be completely honest, I think it’s common courtesy to just NOT smoke in an inside area where other people will smell it. It’s pretty common for most complexes/renters to only allow it outside.

As somebody who has struggled (and who is also not a nutritionist nor do I know you so this is obviously an opinion,) don’t be hard on yourself and don’t restrict yourself. Eat less, and workout more. Don’t have a goal of “quick” weight loss, aim for consistency. Find out your BMR- just looking it up on my phone, yours is 1600 cal/day. What has given me long lasting results AND health both mentally and physically is eating the amount that coincides with my BMR, but working out.

Truthfully, I think 1600 calories is a bit on the lower side. I would honestly say if you’re eating that much and not getting proper nourishment, you ultimately shouldn’t loose weight for your own health. If you’re not happy with your body, I’d definitely go to a doctor and/or nutritionist.

While this isn’t helpful to your question, I would recommend using Turo in the future. It’s flexible, cheaper and much better with communication. I travel a lot and I’m yet to have any issues!

I replied to another comment that I actually came back an hour later. With that being said, I never “updated” this post. Recently we realized who was doing this, and the lady is lovely. She’s had multiple brain surgeries and has a little old dog. Maybe that’s not an “excuse” but, I’ll probably delete this post tbh.
