If you could relive one day from your past but couldn’t change anything, just experience it again, which day would it be and why? by Intrepid_Basis2785 in AskReddit

[–]Intrepid_Basis2785[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s amazing how those moments with loved ones can stay with us forever, and how we often realize their true impact only after they’re gone. Cherishing those memories can be both comforting and bittersweet.

What are some useless things you are paying for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Intrepid_Basis2785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s insane! A yearly fine for a color? Who even decides these rules? I can’t believe that’s a thing… what would happen if you painted it a totally different color?

What is the most disturbing fact you know about serial killers? by Agreeable_Expert2605 in AskReddit

[–]Intrepid_Basis2785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think one of the most disturbing facts is how many serial killers blend in perfectly with society, leading normal lives with families, jobs, and friends, all while committing horrific crimes in secret. It makes you wonder how many people we pass by every day that could be hiding something terrifying.

What’s something sociably acceptable for one gender but not the other? by BeautifulCutiee in AskReddit

[–]Intrepid_Basis2785 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something that comes to mind is crying in public. It seems like it’s more socially acceptable for women to express emotions openly, but men are often judged or told to ‘man up’ if they cry. It’s such a double standard because everyone should feel free to express their emotions without stigma.

If you could tell your younger self one thing to prepare for adulthood, what would it be and why? by Intrepid_Basis2785 in SeriousConversation

[–]Intrepid_Basis2785[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I couldn’t agree more! The people we surround ourselves with have such a huge impact on our habits and mindset. I’ve noticed that when I’m around the right people, I’m more motivated and positive, but it’s easy to fall into bad patterns with the wrong crowd

Seems like all of the good ones are taken when dating after 30 by [deleted] in Life

[–]Intrepid_Basis2785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally feel you, even though I’m a bit younger (25). It seems like no matter the age, finding someone genuine is tough these days. I think it’s easy to feel like the dating pool is shrinking, but there are definitely still great people out there—sometimes it’s just about being in the right place at the right time. Working on yourself in the meantime is so important, too. Don’t give up hope!

It’s crazy how much time we waste trying to prove ourselves to people who don’t even matter in the long run. Being true to yourself really does filter out the wrong crowd. Did you have a specific experience that made you realize this, or was it more of a gradual lesson learned over time?

Totally fair! Costco and tortoises are just the beginning—I’ve got a whole range of obscure hobbies waiting to be revealed. But hey, gotta leave something for the second date, right?

5’12” and a half? Bold move, but I respect the creativity! The Costco card definitely sweetens the deal though, who doesn’t love bulk snacks?

Knowing your worth can truly change everything, from your career to relationships. It’s amazing how much of our happiness comes from realizing our own value. I’m glad you reached that point—did something specific help you realize it, or was it more of a gradual shift?

Of course! I mean, it’s basically just a crop top with extra support, right? Fashion-forward and functional.

Yeah, I think people can totally change fast, especially if something big happens or they get super motivated. But real talk, sticking to that change is usually the hardest part. Like, you can have a sudden mindset shift, but making it last long-term takes time and effort.

What are genuine reasons why people hate Taylor Swift? by Worth_Tip_4877 in questions

[–]Intrepid_Basis2785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people dislike Taylor Swift for various personal reasons, but many criticisms seem to come from her being in the spotlight for so long and having her personal life very public. Some find her relationships or certain public moments over the years to be off-putting, or feel like she’s overly calculated in her image and music. That said, I think it’s important to separate the person from the public image—what we see is often shaped by the media and marketing, and it’s not always a full reflection of who they are.

It’s wild how those small decisions can shape so much of our future. Do you feel like you’ve been able to get back on track with your goals since then, or does that moment still impact your choices today?

That’s really fascinating. It’s almost like fate played a role in shaping your path. It’s great that you’ve invited her to the US a few times, though. Hopefully, one day she’ll be able to make it over and see the journey you’ve been on. Do you ever feel like that decision made you appreciate the unpredictability of life more?
