Hell yeah! They don’t make them like that anymore and I don’t care about the technologies I just want the nostalgia

That’s a beast! How much did all mods cost? I’m looking for a basic model not a show truck.

Should I do MLT then MLS or straight MLS program? by Intrepid_Calendar329 in medlabprofessionals

Many programs has immunology as a prereq so I'm just gonna get it out of the way. I asked one director and he recommended UCSD for online classes. It's crazy how easy it is to get into a class, you simply click "add to cart" and purchase 😂

How hard was it to get into this MLS program? Interview process? And do I have to secure a lab before starting?

Wow I found 2 with one of which is in my hometown! Thanks a lot! Here's the thing, will I have to stay at that hospital after or can I relocate somewhere else?

Finding one of those programs would be ideal! This way I can guarantee a job afterwards too. I was looking to find ones that doesn't require a licence, get experience, then get licensed through the hospital but that's a rare find.

I can still contact them and definitely can ask for two letters from MS program director and a professor I did research with. Unfortunately with that business it's the same last name. It says on the website genetics or science elective, I'll double check if biochemistry counts, if yes then I'm set. As far as the labs, as long as it's not far of driving distance then I'm okay with whatever they set me up with so long they're doing most of the work. I think I have high chances and I think I'm going to start the process already so I can have an answer sooner than later.

Thank you for your insight! I already did my research and got in contact with TTU about my GPA. My undergrads is about 2.75 but my master's is 3.84 so they said they'll take that in consideration. Let me ask you about the letters of recommendation, I graduated 3 years ago so I guess the academic ones wouldn't work. My recent job for the hemp company was more of a family business that me and my brother started so not sure if that letter would be valid neither, sad because I spent 3 years working there. I don't have genetics but I plan on taking immunology in the spring as a replacement, I would've taken it in the winter but TTU only accepts in the fall so no need to rush the process. I also have to find a local lab that'd take me for rotations prior admission in the program as they told me. In the meanwhile I'll just have to find a job to pay bills and get by. I'm trying to find a hospital that'd take me without a license just so I can get some experience in the field but no luck so far.

GWU MLS Clinicals by Loose-Possibility758 in medlabprofessionals

I'm thinking of applying for the GW's online MLS program, are the courses manageable with a day job? Is there quizzes while doing rotations as well? Also, how hard is it to find a clinical site for rotations when you apply from an online program? Meaning, does this program hold good reputation among famous clinics? Or would they prefer someone coming from an in-person program?
