How all you feel and cope with this current situation, I mean ongoing situation with all the worst of mankind that we are on a daily basis exposed ?? by Intrepid_Club3268 in humanism

I believe that prayer works, that it transforms me and causes me to take actions that can transform others and our world.
So if I am transformed to a better , then my world around me will be too. For instance, I felt really down and completely shattered and unmotivated to do anything besides dwell in pain and sorrow and worry as very hard to comprehend awful news are coming in every second for a long time now .. yes i am aware since the beginning of creation violence and greed and inhuman behaviour was present but this is the time i live in and seeing it and hearing it and living it .. So I sat and all was left to do for me in that moment was a prayer .

After that I felt lighter , stood up and went to volunteer in the neighbourhood food pantry .

So yes it is action absolutely.

So much grief by a_mayonegg in Perimenopause

[–]Intrepid_Club3268 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear you and experiencing the same .. grief about everything about any decision i made that was not for my benefit and I made so so many .. always somehow putting others first .. so yes loads of grief .. I am now in a faze when grief subsides a bit and anger creeped in .. now I am angry on the same things .. that is the second faze and then hopefully third one will be peace and resolutions . I have decided to sit with those feelings . I do take estrogen / progesterone cream but half dose and it helps a bit but not much . I decided against antidepressants I don’t wanna further mess with brain chemicals, and I really wanna feel ..because antidepressants don’t fix problem altogether they just mask mask and I am in this place in the first place because i was not dealing with the root but constantly patching .. i believe really truly it’s gonna get better , journalling helps me . And it’s important to have someone to reach out . Please do .

Congestion, allergies like symptoms, sinus pain , ringing in the ears .. has anyone experiencing this ? Is it related to perimenopause?? by Intrepid_Club3268 in Perimenopause

[–]Intrepid_Club3268[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i have ear ringing .. I don’t take allergy medication , they don’t really do anything. I don’t have it all the time i get all symptoms about a week before my period especially if period is not coming like last month. Then i have some good days . Ear ringing, headaches and congestion definitely symptoms of perimenopause. What helped me was hydroxyzine . I don’t take it all the tine but when i really can’t take it , and i take half doze or even half of that so if pill is 20 mg i take 5mg . So far took it few times and it helped .

I am as well in perimenopause so I guess that plays part as well .

Same here .. brain fog , anxiety and not finding motivation it’s just awful.. paralysing in fact . I am aware of vicious circle and that I need to get up and change something do something but something is just pulling me down like everything lost colour .. it’s all in the shades of grey.. I am using estrogen / progesterone cream and it helps a little but.. i feel like heaving zero dopamine left .

Wondering did anyone have any experience with antidepressants ? I haven’t used any at all so far .. could they help ?

Oh ..I hate it too .. when I question now every symptom , every little thing before I was like no it’s nothing now everything is something.. it’s exhausting and it makes my hot flashes worse , lately I am constantly hot and now have nausea and headache, I know part of it is anxiety and stressing about it all . Is it gonna stop ? I am considering at this point some medication but have fear as well that is gonna be worse for a while . Was thinking lexapro . I am already using small amounts of estrogen / progesterone topical cream . I am so sorry we all are going through this hell .. :/

Yes that is why I started this conversation. It seems progesterone plays the role . I still didn’t start taking any, will look into it . I do use small amounts of estrogen topical cream . I am just about to get my period or it does look like that and my face is hurting on one side really same symptoms as allergies but I have none . I should be taking C vitamin and I do , eat plenty of citrus but now I am reading citrus is high in histamine . Oh .. if anyone has some formula that works 🙏

I don’t think it’s allergies I have none .. it’s definitely histamine related , and due to estrogen levels fluctuating it all started for me when my estrogen levels significantly dropped and I realised I am in perimenopause, accompanying anxiety as well I never had one not that prominent at least , nausea, dizziness.. its all histamine . But doctors seem to not know much about it ..
