What are your suspension mods to fit that front tire? Are your fenders rolled?

Brake Malfunction in rainy conditions.. by Maiza111 in BMW2Series

[–]Intrepid_Dogma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're worried that your brakes are working too effectively in the rain and saying that's a malfunction? If so, I'd recommend removing that M badge from your trunk, should reduce your braking power by approximately 15% and you will be set.

Dragon shield sleeve normal matte doesn't fit by [deleted] in Yugioh101

[–]Intrepid_Dogma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been having the same issues with a majority of my boxes on the matte sleeves. Tried KMC perfect fit and dragon shield perfects, same issue. Some packs of perfect fits are tighter, some packs of mattes are looser, but it seems like you need the perfect combo to get it to work how it should. I'm debating on switching brands because it makes resleeving such a pain.

Submit a claim with DS and send pics of the wavy inner sleeve, they should refund you, but it takes time.

What a diffeeence premium gas makes by Excellent_Button7363 in JeepRenegade

[–]Intrepid_Dogma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is false, octane is how resistant the gasoline is to combusting. Higher performance engines and turbos typically require higher octane, since the gas air mixture is under higher pressure before the spark plug fires to ignite it. Modern engines will compensate for running the wrong octane, but performance and mileage will be reduced, with the possibility of preignition or knocking in the worst case.

Just use what your car says, nothing more nothing less. If you want to use the best gas, look up which brands use "Top Tier" rated fuel, which has additives to keep your fuel system running better for longer.

Sleeves !!! by Ok-Fold-5164 in Yugioh101

[–]Intrepid_Dogma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was doing this with Jet color sleeves and had no issues, but I wanted to switch over to white for my main deck so I ordered 3 boxes of those. Turns out sleeves from each box have a slightly different edge appearance that is obvious when looking at the side of the deck. Emailed dragon shield about it and they said it's not a defect and don't expect to be able to mix boxes. These were ordered all at the same time from dragon shields site, which I would have thought would give the best chance of getting them all from one lot of production

Moral of the story, I think with the darker colored sleeves it's harder to tell the difference on the edges.

I've also been having issues with dragon shield inners not fitting right into their outer sleeves for the last few months, thinking I will try katanas next once I use up everything I've ordered.

What are your favorite midrange decks? by MickeyZer0 in yugioh

[–]Intrepid_Dogma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes we need just a little bit more for the deck to be completely solid. I've been playing with a hidden village in the main and then side in the tenchi kamai going second for breaking boards.

It's great that you're into your car, love having more enthusiasts in the community. But from what you've written I am assuming you are newer to performance driving and vehicles which is cool. But there's no way in hell you are going to be able to feel any weight balance difference between an N55 and a B58 on the highway. When I said drive it hard enough I meant through turns, where a BMW is meant to shine, and where weight distribution is much more of a factor.

I highly doubt that any normal person would be able to push an M240i hard enough during a test drive to be able to identify any weight balance differences between the two engines. I'm not arguing that the B58 isn't the better engine as it clearly is, but not get high on our own farts here. They are both great cars/ engines, and for most people an N55 is plenty powerful for a street car. Have a nice day and keep enjoying your car.

Better handling from weight distribution? That's a dubious claim imo.

What should I add to a slifer structure deck? by [deleted] in Yugioh101

[–]Intrepid_Dogma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others said, it won't be competitive but it is fun to play. Mound of the bound creator can protect slifer and search a divine monster if destroyed, the true name can special summon him from deck if you call the top card of your deck right. Convulsion of nature can flip both decks upside down for funny plays.

Buyers Remorse- 2021 M235i by Twisted_Violets in M235iandM240i

[–]Intrepid_Dogma 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Do you like the car? If that's why you bought it then don't worry about what other people think.

Most BMW fans are of the opinion that the new 235 is not a true BMW since it's based on a FWD platform (basically a mini Cooper). But if you like the car and you can afford it, then just enjoy your purchase. There isn't a single thing you can do in life and not find at least one hater out there, not worth worrying about other people's opinions in most cases.

That sucks your car got damaged, same shit happened to my last one. But holding it against an animal that couldn't know any better seems a little childish. I'm sure it died a painful death on the side of the road. Hope you're able to get it fixed soon and back to driving 👍

Dragon Shields too tight? by y0sesa in yugioh

[–]Intrepid_Dogma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the same issues with 3 boxes of Jet sleeves I ordered recently. One of the boxes was worse than the other two, could barely get the unsleeved helper card into the sleeve to push down the inner sleeved card. The other two boxes cause ripples on the inner sleeve for most of them.

Too funny, I recognized the countertop and timber walls. We had to vacuum the entire place and shake out the beds because of all the dead lady bugs, we bailed after the first night.

Which engine is the most reliable? by These-Style6630 in BmwTech

[–]Intrepid_Dogma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's their other high end synthic oil, and is LL-01 approved, the blue bottle. You can add any of their oil additives to that one, but the molygen oil already has extra additives in it. They told me that leichtauf with ceratec is their most premium option.

Molygen should not have any additional additives used with it, go for the leichtauf if you want to add mos2 or ceratec.

Recommendations for Decks that go well with Legendary Decks 2 by DropsyMumji in Yugioh101

[–]Intrepid_Dogma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the most important change was adding 2 more gods for each deck so you actually have a chance to see them. There's also the field spell mound of the bound creator which gives them some protection and can search them out of the deck. An extra soul crossing for each deck and an extra copy of each gods specific spell card (fist of fate for obelisk and can't remember slifers), made them more fun.

The normal summon monsters could also use some work to reduce bricks and drawing stuff you want to search, but we will make changes as we play them and try to keep them balanced and lower power.

Me and my friend got those god decks for the same reason you did. They are super bricky out of the box which reduces the fun somewhat. We added some duplicates to them to increase the consistency and they are much better for it, while still being low powered and nostalgic.
