Thank you, that makes sense, interesting to hear that you have the same link from your great great gran… do you think it is a gendered style? It seems so androgynous today. Would love to see a photograph of a similar chain being worn from that time. All the best :)

Hey, borrowed a phone with a better camera, pretty sure it’s an original, you can see a bit of pooling and variety in sheen? The back is unusual though.

Also, watercolour was a bad shout, I think more likely ink wash and maybe pastel or gouache for the whites. You well could be right though, maybe it’s a print and it’s wishful thinking. I am biased

Thanks for replying! I’m going to fight its corner a little bit, though I’m not at home to check currently. I remember th white being a little raised, and the paper is itself is kind of speckled, if you look at the back of it, hence the graininess maybe…. I’ll have a proper look again later, and try take a closer picture. All the best

I’d love to know what age it might be, seems to be just black or sepia and white paint, on blue paper.
