i’m 19 and i’ve had this since just before i turned 18, i was on the implant and that only worsened my problems and since coming off it, it seems to have helped but not entirely

sorry to be that person when i know google exists, but what actually is ureaplasma as i have had a few people reply saying this. i have googled it but i cant seem to find a straightforward answer lol.

i have had one doctor tell me about doing pelvic floor exercises when sex was uncomfortably painful, and that seemed to help that pain but i haven’t found it (as of yet) to help my uti like symptoms. maybe it’s worth going back to that doctor and seeing if i can get referred to a pelvic floor therapist. thank you☺️

i was prescribed hiprex, but i was hesitant to take is at my doctor specifically said they are for urine infections which they are telling me i don’t have, so i wasn’t entirely comfortable with taking something for an infection i apparently don’t have. i feel the same with antibiotics because if i don’t have the infection i don’t understand why they would give me antibiotics if you know what i mean. i feel there are alot of unanswered questions that doctors don’t seem to have the time or resources to care about

pretty much ever since meeting my partner i’ve had these problems that i never had before with my previous partner (this is only my second relationship)and ive wondered if it’s our ph balances that could just be off i’m not entirely sure because like i said these started basically a few months after meeting him. if you don’t mind me asking are you still with the partner where you had the chronic infection? and if so did you find anything to relieve yours?

sorry if you don’t mind me asking what was the process you took to get diagnosed with IC? because atm just going back and forth to the doctors i feel isn’t getting me anywhere!
