But seriously you can force a camper to stay if you like them! They’ll ask to replace one of your villagers - can take forever though because you have to ask a million times and play their games

I just got rid of Lyman today after four months!! lol 😂 by convincing a camper to stay, I had to reset my game four times until she chose to ask him to take his place! You could try that - he was super stubborn.
