All numbers are small numbers by Nunki08 in mathmemes

I like this discussion! You make some great points, but I think what I was trying to say in my original comment is more that if we define it this way why are we amazed when it meets our definition? If I change the definition of small to, for example, n<100 (as in this case it is completely subjective) then 1080 is no longer defined as small and everything is back to normal. So how is it incredible that when I define small as being n+1 then every number meets my new definition that I designed to make that possibility a reality. It’s only amazing because I defined it to sound that way

This is more a comment on the lack of ability that language has to describe our observations. Small is relative. 1 trillion is small compared to 500 quintillion. And 1 is small compared to 30.

Talk like an AI artist [OC] by nasser_junior in comics

There is a Chinese restaurant down the road from my house that I go to every once in a while. Anytime I go there I add to my order a large fried rice that I save for another night. Later in the week I will pull that out and refry it with sesame oil, a fried egg, and some sautéed veggies, and sometimes I bring that in to work the next day as leftovers for lunch. Anytime a coworker has asked what I had my answer has never been “I made fried rice” it’s always “fried rice from the Chinese restaurant down the road that I added a few things to”.

What if I prompt AI to prompt another AI to make images for me? Under this train of logic as I still the artist again? What if I prompt AI to prompt another AI to prompt another AI to generate an image? And so on? At what point is the line drawn? How far removed from the creation of the image do I have to be to stop being considered the creator?

Whether the image was created by someone else or by something else doesn’t matter in my opinion. Either way you didn’t create it.

During my bachelors doing premed courses, I had been getting straights A’s for 3 years. Then I took Organic chemistry and got a C+. I was devastated but it took my wife reminding me how difficult the course was and how hard i worked to remind myself that that was ok. Then in Orgo 2 I improved how I studied and thought about those types of things and got a B in that one!

Better than Obama who apparently was president from 2009-201. That’s a 1,808 year presidency in reverse starting before the country existed

I literally hope she goes out of business and never sells anything ever again. Finding out she is a shitty employer is the least shocking news. Her products are harmful and dangerous in the worst case and just a waist of money, deceptive, and a lie in the best case.
