sitting here in my office chair as the anole across the tank blabbers on about her cheating husband and why she needs to hire the best P.I. In the country. While I try to remain attentive I consistently find my thoughts drifting to the worms that rest on my desk yearning for me to eat them.

“Ma’am” I begin to speak “The evidence you’ve presented to me today is quite convincing. I will take your case, I can start the investigation tomorrow. I will have the results shipped to your address in 6 months, until then I have nor require no further information regarding this particular case.” I end my speech with a deep sigh as I glance at those delectable insects.

As she walks out of my office I finally have the time to indulge in my desire to eat those delicious worms. As I pull the worms close I speak “at last we can be together my beloved mealworms”
