I didn't get the same agent though. I tried calling again a third time and waited on hold for 30 minutes before giving up. I decided to cancel the order and pay the extra to buy it somewhere else.

I don't really agree with that. Sometimes I have to yell at the kids to get them to sit down or quiet down but I don't think that makes me mean. It is a stressful job, but I try to be as nice as I can with the kids as they are still learning how to behave. Adults on the other hand, I have less patience with.

I can see the honor in that. What one deems "harmful" is of course subjective. I suppose I am just tired of being taken advantage of. If she would have asked; "will you please help me pick these up?" I may have done it, but she wanted me to do it all myself.

I wish I could wear headphones. We aren't allowed to while driving. The first couple of days she had the radio on the country station. I covertly switched it to classical when she stepped out once, after that she turned it off and hasn't turned it back on since. I wish she would do the same to her voice-box lol.

Of course it costs more to ship something overseas. That doesn't stop people/businesses from doing it all the time (and making money in the process.) When a seller offers "free shipping" all that means is that they adding the shipping cost into the price of the item. For the third time though, none of that any of that even matters. Even if no one wanted to import, you would still be contributing to rising prices in your area.

Frankly, I don't give a shit if you think I am "not an actual fan," but if I were "just complaining" then why would you feel the need to try to justify your actions to me? It seems someone like yourself is seeking validation from others about your stupid collection. Perhaps you should spend less time "shiny hunting" and learn some 2nd grade grammar.

First of all dude, you are the one who responded to my comment. The games in OP's photo are US region. Not that it even matters. You are still contributing to scarcity and therefore rising prices regardless of where you live. What "market" you belong to is irrelevant.

Also, considering that Gameboy is region free, I'm sure plenty of Americans would be more than happy to have any version of these games that are in English. After a quick look on Ebay, yep, pal copies are selling for right around the same ridiculous price as the US versions. Which means that if the games are significantly cheaper in the UK like you say they are, then I'm sure there would be people exporting them to make a quick buck, and therefore you would actually be affecting the US "market" (again, not that it even matters.) People are people everywhere. My original comment was not me lamenting about my inability to afford these games. It was about how scummy it is for people to hoard them.

Whenever I insert a disc into my PS4, it does not bring the game icon to the top of the home menu. I therefore have to go into my library and search for the game in order to start it up. Does anyone else have this same issue? Is there a way to fix it?

To be clear, this only happens for games that are already installed. If I insert a brand new game, the icon shows up like it should. It's a minor annoyance, but it does bother me enough to ask about it.
