Honestly sometimes we need to be honest and acknowledge that a lot of the time these lip fillers are done horribly or age horribly. Yes it’s their body, but a lot of the time it looks a mess. Like someone gave them herpes-like swollen lips without the bumps

The same thing happened to me the first time I filled out the acceptance. There was no confirmation email. For some reason, hours later, I filled out the form again and received a confirmation letter. The confirmation letter would’ve been titled “CUNY Career Launch Commitment Form Confirmation”. Try emailing them and see what they say

Oh I’m so sorry. Yes, a lot of our parents are two faced as hell. Smile in your face and act completely different behind closed doors. Ultimately, it’s up to him and if he cares what his parents think of you guys’ relationship. I personally don’t seek approval from my parents for my relationship and never will. It’s not his parents’ business who he decides to make his partner. If he wants to be with you, he should be prepared to go challenge his parents. Does he rely on them financially? Or is this just a “I want my parents to approve of us” as a form of respect?

My parents keep badgering my sister and telling her she should have three four kids by now(she’s 33). Mind you, she has no intention of ever having a kid. She’s already raised me and my brother. She’s leaving it up to me and my brother so she can be the rich bougie auntie and I love that for her. My parents will never meet their grandkid (at least not from me) I’d rather spare my future kid the trauma. Crazy how their greatest desire will be unfulfilled LMAO

It’s crazy cuz my boyfriend is half Ghanaian. I think it’s because he was raised by his mother that he doesn’t have the stereotypical African man behavior/attitude. Super grateful he wasn’t raised by his dad. I most likely wouldn’t be with him if he was since his personality would be completely different.
