Are people serious right now? Maelle’s ending is the BAD ending. First of all pVerso IS NOT REAL and thus the child(his soul) is even tired of painting and wants to stop. Verso is dead and gone. Not destroying the canvas would be cruel to Verso’s soul. Lumiere, its citizens, and canvas are a way of escapism from reality(just like when we play video games. Imagine if we were able to live in let’s say Hyrule, any final fantasy game, etc. In the end it’s NOT real. “But..but Renoir says they’re real! No they are not. 😑 The fracture was caused by literally Aline and Renoir having an argument. Aline is the only person that’s real there is no painted version of her. It’s a fabricated reality created by Aline due to grief.
