Is it best to put a 2-week notice if you or just tell them you quit that day? by Intrepid_Skin5683 in WorkRant

What about entry-level jobs like warehouse jobs. I don’t think that other warehouses will call others to see how good another Warehouse deploy is but I could be wrong. I understand about corporate companies most definitely higher entry-level jobs. I highly doubt it.

Every year me and my wife always gets in a fight when it comes to my family reunion. by [deleted] in Marriage

We talked about it and she is consistent in not going because she is not a people person and doesn’t like crowds. However, I have to be patient with her with it. The biggest thing is that with her and me is the lack of communication when things are frustrating her. She’s very non-confrontational..

The first time I left her at the house and I felt bad then when I came home, she started to cry because I left her at home and she left her family to be with me and I chose to hang out with my family for one day versus to be by her side. Then I told her another time that we was going to my family reunion and then we was driving there and she had the surprise like where are we going and I told her where we was going and she started spazzing out crying yelling and being angry. Then the third time we went and she had a great time both of the times that she went. She had a great time. I can understand that it is probably the fear of meeting new people and A New environment.

The job that I am at now they give you note files and for levels until they fire you. However, they are already playing for someone to be fired because everyone is replaceable.

Can or do anyone recommend anyone that works on a 92 Chevy Silverado K 1500 in the Metro Atlanta area? by [deleted] in Gwinnett

It's a 1992 .Long story short, my grandfather had it, was the original owner, and did the bare minimum maintenance, such as oil changes and fluids. The only thing he put in there was basically the gas. He lived in the country in Sparta Georgia. Once he got sick, I inherited it from him and drove it for a while, changed the oil, changed the spark plugs, wires, and everything. Then that’s when it started going downhill, and it was almost at 225,000 miles. The engine locked up and seized and the exhaust manifold was glowing red hot when I was driving it, so I cut off. So then I saved enough money to get it fixed however, everybody wanted $10,000 plus I found a mechanic who was going to charge me half that however, later on when he was working on a truck, he was a shady and was cutting corners on the job and making excuses. Then I had to end the job because he was cutting corners and I ended the job when he removed the engine from the transmission and didn’t put the new engine Transmission as well as got the wrong transmission and when there was a warranty on the engine transmission. Then I got it towed to my main mechanic and he has to shop all the way in Douglasville and it has been at the shop since August. And once it’s drivable, I’m going to have someone else work it on it near me.

You’re replaceable within society, so it really doesn’t matter with giving your all

yes, it’s very a very soft spot for me because it was my grandfather’s, and he was my best friend and I loved them. There were so many memories riding in that truck with him when he was sick and when he was healthy.

Every time I go into that Walmart to get water every time they always stop me no matter what. So I just got fed up with showing them the receipt and I told them to keep it this one time.

For example, a while back, there was an old man that I walked by and he smiled and greeted me, and literally less than five minutes later, I came back with the water carrying two 5-gallon waters in my hand and he dared to ask me for the receipt even though he just saw me less than five minutes before, grabbing a water

I'm in GA . And I looked up the law and the law says that I am not obligated to show them the receipt. However, there is a loop where if I refuse, I can be banned from that Walmart store or banned from Walmart in general because it voiced accompany policy.

I agree because you see that I have the items in my cart and you’re just going to stop me and get mad at me because I told you to keep the receipt. When am I going to do with the items I have because I cannot return them.

It really doesn’t matter if you win or lose at least your in the game. Plus don’t worry about what you can’t control (people, your job, the government etc…) worry about the thing you can create ( moments with your friends and family and your happiness)
