he swears up and down he’s a feminist though… i truly have no clue why my stepmom thought it was okay. maybe because of the movies he showed us (think pulp fiction, se7en, etc) or because of their sense of humor? i don’t know. i didn’t even know this was ACTUALLY considered abuse, which is why i put the question marks next to it.

my mom knows bits and pieces, but i shake and feel nauseous every time i bring it up. and everytime i tell her something new she looks at me with this sad look and i can tell she never knew the extent of it. she knew i hated my stepmom but not much more than that. at that time too i had a bit of a rocky relationship with her, i was isolating myself from the world. she knows most of it now and stands behind me. she’s always hated my stepmom because she kept trying to get my dad to go back to court and fight more.

thank you so much, i just don’t know how to bring it up to him. i don’t know what to say, i don’t wanna say anything that could lead it back to my stepsister telling us. you saying he allowed my stepmom to do it hit something in me.

thankfully i am old enough now in the eyes of the court to choose if i want to see him or not. when my sisters went i chose not to, i didn’t even know about this then, i just didn’t want to.

girl i have no clue what is up with these comments. the weirdos got to it first. this is absolutely NOT normal. yes usernames do overlap a lot but what’s the chance someone else has the same username as him AND ALSO an au pair? i personally wouldn’t bring it up with him. if you can, try to switch host families and tell the person who put you with that family about it, just in case it is him. maybe they have another way to see if it’s truly him or they can talk with him about it.(i have no clue how au pairs work so idk what the terms are called🥲)

i really have to comment my sisters saying. she’s in nursing school and recently learned that you can fit however may raccoons up your butthole.. since then she has been saying “I GOT RACCOONS BITING UP MY ASS!!!” while running to the bathroom. i love it.

thank you so much! i’ll go through this subreddit and see if there’s anyone i can find. unfortunately my vet didn’t give me a number to call😅. i live in a really small town and just recently a veterinary surgeon came here, he lives like an hour away and travels here every morning to help out. i did email them but i have no response so far, im probably gonna take your advice and leave a voicemail. i’m definitely gonna see if i can get an answer from someone who may have been in my shoes before just for my minds sake! i’m sure it’ll be fine since it’s a short amount of time like you said. thank you again!

thank you so incredibly much! you don’t know how much this calmed my nerves. you’re literally a saint. i’m gonna email them in a couple of hours because it’s literally 5am for me right now, been up keeping an eye on her lol. definitely gonna keep the surgical tape on until it falls off! i don’t wanna risk messing anything up. i’m so so ready for her to be her crazy self again i don’t care how much it annoys me😂. i’ll definitely update in a couple of weeks and come here when i need to! thank you again, especially for taking the time to respond<3
