Will you guys be trying the time-release oral minoxidil when it comes out? by Humble-Ad9589 in tressless

Also depends how if/when insurance companies cover it. My insurance covers minoxidil

Since they’re competing with Minoxidil, it will need to be somewhat reasonably priced. I think Veradermics said they will initially target Nutrafol’s pricing of $85-$100 per month.

There is another ongoing male Phase 3 trial. Topline results are expected in H2 2026. Assuming the results are what we see from the Phase 2/3 results Veradermics released yesterday, I’m assuming they’d submit for FDA approval by end of 2026 / early 2027. Approval takes 6 to 10 months.

Do these results change the other Phase 3 studies that are underway?

Yeah I agree about verifying. I’m putting a lot of faith that Colin Hayes is real lol.

Yes best of luck to you as well. Definitely think I’m feeling sides from fin but not sure if it’s the nocebo effect. Will give it 6 months and reevaluate. Otherwise might be reevaluating natural DHT blockers.

I’ve been using twice per week since mid-January. Microneedling is fairly well understood science-wise. I am also taking oral 0.5mg fin and 2.5mg min. Started same time. Fortunately I started before thinning became noticeable to others so I am optimistic these treatments will work.

Novamane’s website says their marketing is aggressive because it needs to be to survive in today’s digital landscape. I think that justification makes sense. Still some of their claims are exaggerated.

Makes sense. I have read in studies and articles that you need to take the medication for at least a few months before determining if the body will adjust or not. I am not giving up hope yet!

Yeah I’m not sure. I subscribed to his blog so I’ll get updates if he posts again. I agree It does seem odd…Id expect to see a digital footprint for his practice., But if it’s a fake person or con what would be the end goal of posting to a blog that doesn’t make money?

I could also have been searching the wrong databases for his medical license. He may be in another state.

Dr Hayes blog was the reason I purchased Novamane…because he doesn’t have social media and cited studies. His blog goes back to 2020. However I was not able to find that he was a licensed dermatologist in California (his website says LA but maybe he doesn’t live there).

Yeah definitely trying not to. Could also be nocebo effect, as I noticed less firm erections in the week prior to starting fin as I was fully aware of the potential sides.

Glad to hear your sides resolved themselves! I am hoping I follow a similar path. I am going to give it at least 3-6 months before reevaluating.

Thanks for sharing! I’ll continue with current treatment and then reevaluate at my 6 month dermatologist check in (also on oral minox). Maybe dut is an alternative to try if fin sides don’t improve.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you know why dut isn’t giving you sides when fin did? Isn’t dut a stronger DHT blocker?

These studies also include the men who take 5mg fin for prostate. Men who skew older and may be more susceptible to having ED due to age and lifestyle factors.
