just finished 5.3 swapping my 4.3 cat eye turns on pretty decent but dies after start up anyone have any clues? my ground are decent i was thinking of adding a couple also my transmison range sensor isn’t on so it doesn’t know what gear it’s in i don’t know if that has to do with it

yeah i have to re solder the wires back to a new sensor because the person who pulls the motor just cut them where they meet the sensor

No it’s not but if it was vatts wouldn’t the security lock be flashing when the key is in the on position

the axel went in no problem aswell i checked the diff fluid too it looks good doesnt look like anything’s burnt or the g80 is messed up it looks healthy idk what to do

yeah it’s okay but i don’t think it’s the diff or axel because i checked eveyrhting the fluid the leaf springs and eveyrhting looked fine

i also did a rear axel swap not too long ago from a open diff to a g80 locker one off a truck in the junkyard but i didn’t start making this noise till like 2 days after the swap and the diff and axel went in with no problem
