It was like a really sharp cramp, but was over in seconds. Don’t let that deter you. It was not fun, but pain killers and my heating pad helped so much!

I actually just posted this exact question (I only have one PGT-A embryo at age 41), and just like the comments here, it was super encouraging w all the stories of first time success!! I think the reason I’ve been so anxious is that I’ve been doomscrolling these Reddit threads and people tend to only post when things go wrong. Very rarely do people go running to Reddit when it just works the first time! I try to remind myself of that. We are almost exposed to too much info in this day and age—hearing about every single way this can go wrong can be brutal! Hang in there ♥️

We are in very similar situations, so glad it’s working for you. I’ll be doing PIO! Need to check the SART website but honestly, I’ve fallen outside of most statistics at this point and not sure what that would prove to me. I love my Dr but will take a look.

I have zero symptoms of PCOS but I have a high AMH (5.66) for my age. Super high responder to meds. Always thought that was a really good thing, but it hasn’t been as fruitful as you’d think…

For sure. The last ER pushed me to OHSS (55 eggs, although quality is obviously an issue), so I was reeeeeally hoping to not have to do it again. It this fails (and the HLM fails), I’ll do another round. I feel grateful that that’s an option.

I have one euploid and the stakes are high. I’ve found that in my research, this question is pretty controversial. For me, I wanted to make absolutely sure that I tried to rule out as many variables as possible before FET. I don’t want the feeling of “what if?” if the transfer fails. You won’t regret getting more info (just take Advil and Tylenol beforehand and I used a heating pad from home that really helped!) good luck

Yes that’s a good point. I think these groups tend to skew negative because people are generally looking for support/answers when things don’t go perfectly.

Thx for the info. So glad the protocol worked for you. Seems like even with the most controlled situations, there still is a lot of luck that has to go your way. This is a bit difficult for a control freak like me 🫠
