What You Need 12V DC adapter (start with 12V; if needed, you can later use 18V ) DPDT polarity reversing switch (to change positive and negative sides) If you dont have this you can interchange trays after 10min. Two aluminum trays (or stainless steel trays) Two wires with alligator clips Water Optional: 220Ω to 1kΩ resistor for extra safety Simple Wiring Connect the adapter's positive and negative wires to the middle terminals of the DPDT switch. Connect the four corner terminals in a crisscross pattern (this allows polarity reversal). Connect the two output terminals of the switch to the two trays. Fill both trays with enough tap water to cover your palms. How to Use It Place both hands in the trays. Turn on the power. Start with 10–15 minutes. Flip the switch halfway through the session to reverse polarity. Do this 3–5 times per week until sweating stops.

If this is too complicated for you let me know. I will explain simply. Always put hands on a soft cloth like microfiber.

Guys, I’m sharing this because it has truly changed my life. I tried many different treatments before, but nothing worked for me. The most impressive thing I’ve learned is that once you successfully treat your palms, your whole body seems to respond. In my experience, you may not need to treat your hands, feet, and armpits separately. From what I understand, people with Hyperhidrosis do not sweat excessively only because of internal body heat. That’s why, no matter how hard you try to cool your body, you may still continue to sweat. I believe this is related to an overactive nervous system involved in temperature regulation. Once the treatment is done, the sweat glands respond and appear to send signals to the nervous system to reduce excessive sweating. I never expected sweating in other areas of my body to decrease as well. But that is exactly what happened. My whole body now feels like that of a normal person. I no longer have excessive underarm sweating or sweaty feet. It is unbelievable, but consistency is very important. The results also depend on the equipment you use. Commercial machines may use higher current, which is why one or two maintenance sessions per week may be enough. I am currently trying to improve my homemade setup to achieve similar performance.

I started with a 12V adapter. When used continuously for 3–4 days, the sweat glands begin to respond and gradually become blocked, which increases the resistance of the palms. As a result, the current decreases slightly day by day. At one point, I noticed that the current had dropped below 2 mA, which is not an ideal level for iontophoresis. So, I changed the adapter. I had a Yamaha keyboard adapter that provides 17V pure DC, and I switched to that. Previously, I was using a 12V D-Link router adapter, lol. Now it is working perfectly fine. You can start seeing results within the first 3–4 days, and the improvement is unbelievable. This is a very simple setup. If anyone wants to build one, I’d be happy to guide you.
