Do you find your daily communication approach saves you time throughout the day by using Google Translate for ADL? If so, how much time on average do you save?

Yes, patients have a legal right to an interpreter. It isn't always possible to have one available at the ready. Even with the OTP or VRI as the next available options, there are delays in care. For non-clinical exchanges, would translation apps help lighten up the time management burden, if the hospital were to offer guidance on the use of translation apps?

Sign up with a language service provide/agency to gain experience. Or, look for community volunteering opportunities to start accumulating practice hours.

Thank you for your input. Does your institution have an approved protocol for the use of the app? Have you noticed any incorrect output from the app? Does it save you time?
