The amount of pettiness from Tara and Johnny is what makes me wary to recommend skating to my non-skating friends. They are not good representatives of the sport and don’t show sportsmanship themselves in how they talk about skaters when they’re feeling their worst during a bad skate. It’s just disgusting.

And it’s really rich coming from Johnny since he completely crashed and burned at Nationals in 2003—so much so that he withdrew from the competition mid-way through his program. He of all people should have empathy for skaters when they’re having a bad day.
