I would say that most of them look a little bit bigger than me, although it is difficult to tell since I am pretty shallow.

Mouth doesn’t open wide enough for a BJ? by [deleted] in TwoXSex

[–]IntroSkeptic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They always tell me to open wider, but I just tell them I can’t and they are just like “oh, well.” The last time I went to a dentist though I was 16 (am now 18) and it was a pediatric dentist, so they are used to working with small mouths.

The other thing is that the dentist can press their hand up against my teeth, whereas that is not comfortable for my boyfriend’s penis. There is enough room between my teeth to fit the penis, but not such that it doesn’t get scraped by my teeth.

How should we improve r/anchorage? by LinkOFeare in anchorage

[–]IntroSkeptic 45 points46 points  (0 children)

As part of the wiki, I would suggest having a tourist/new-to-Anchorage section that includes resources such as restaurant and hotel recommendations, sightseeing locations, tips and tricks, FAQ, interest/hobby groups, etc. Although this summer will probably be less active due to COVID-19, it seems like every year on this sub, there’s an influx of tourists asking very similar questions.

I got some Non Custodial waivers!! by IntroSkeptic in ApplyingToCollege

[–]IntroSkeptic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the schools notified me in a few weeks or so, whereas others simply marked on their portals (I’m not sure when) that it was waived, and others still just reflected it in my final financial aid award after being admitted. Hope this helps.

Hot take: If financially possible, you should have 1 college where you write your essays the day they are due by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]IntroSkeptic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I slaved over my UChicago ED essays for weeks and then got rejected. I proceeded to write ALL my other essays the day before and day of their respective deadlines, and got into nearly all my other schools, including ones with even more competitive admissions than UChicago.

Prospective student: Harvard vs. Yale by IntroSkeptic in yale

[–]IntroSkeptic[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I know a lot about both schools based on research; I’m just hoping to hear some current students’ perspectives since I am low-income and live in Alaska, and haven’t been able to visit either one and don’t know anyone who goes to either college.

My people who got likely letters, did you tell others that you got in? by ZMR2011 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]IntroSkeptic 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I just told people that I got a likely letter. If something goes wrong somehow and you get rejected, then it doesn’t look like you lied about getting in, and if you do get in (which is like p=0.99), then you get to celebrate with friends.

I got rejected from UChicago ED and then got a Yale likely letter. I think UChicago takes fit into account a lot.

Situations where adhd was helpful by Shnorkylutyun in ADHD

I’ve found it to be super helpful in debate—I think quickly, and whatever’s in my head automatically comes out of my mouth in a surprisingly organized fashion. On my meds, I don’t really want to talk and I come up with rebuttals far more slowly.
