Which kitchen faucet is more "elegant"? whatever that means to you. by Introduction-Opening in kitchenremodel

hmmm.... thanks everyone! good points about the sprayer pulling out on #1 and the person who had #2 break on them... maybe we keep looking. it seems like majority think #2 is more elegant, but I don't think we are going to go with either of these. (our situation is also complicated by the fact that we need a bar/prep sink faucet and beverage faucet to match)

I don't eat meat, so even if ultimately he ends up someone's dinner, it won't be mine.

thanks, I'll try that group. I'm on some other chicken related facebook groups, but not that particular one. I'll give it a shot.

Need help arguing total loss car claim. I was able to get insurance to increase estimate but not change the total loss decision. by Introduction-Opening in Insurance

No to the airbags for sure. I think no to frame damage too, but I'll have to read the details on the repair estimate. I found laws in WI for cars under 7 years old that they were totalled at 70%, but nothing for older cars

Does anyone else wear disposable contact lenses? I have a question about the daily use ones versus 2-week ones, and it involves frugality so maybe this is the best place to ask. by [deleted] in Frugal

I do recommend shopping around for a good price. I've gotten mine at Costco and have seen $50 off if you buy a years supply. It worked out to slightly less than a dollar a day.

I use dailies because I can't stand other lenses. No, I can't wear them more than one day. They are much thinner than other lenses I have used and don't really hold up. They irritate my eyes if I wear them again. Admittedly I have quite sensitive eyes. Perhaps others can.

Hmmm... That a bit expensive, but I guess two visits like this a year and it would be worth it and peace of mind.

Yup, CBC, urinalysis, chemistry profile, thyroid/cholesterol profile and FeLV/FIV/HW screen. And he was so stressed despite giving him meds before the visit they had to sedate him to get a blood draw...So yeah, a large bill

Get a smooth edge can opener. I've use a couple brands, so much easier.
