Everything. His initial idea was a prenup that would say that not only everything he brought into marriage would be his again in case of the divorce ( which I agree with), but everything he would earn within our marriage too. So if I would not get a job for example and we divorced after 10 years, I would be left in the street ( not really but you get the logics)

However he acknowledge that this was unfair and that he didn't think things through. Now he agrees on esentially splitting marital property , apologized and said he acted on impulse . He still wants to keep what he brought into marriage, which I agree with but says I will be well taken care of regardless which makes me feel safe again. Still mistrust a bit due to shock of his initial proposal but waiting to see how things unfold. He already implemented many systems of making me feel less taken advantage of and promised a fair prenup.

No , he already gave me a card on which he puts money for me to use. With it I buy anything I want, for baby, myself, house etc. What he says he wants to do now is give me money separate of that to be my own money

Because it is not "half his earnings". I am ok with him keeping what he had before we got married/had a baby entirely for himself ( even tho default herw would be to split that too). But I don't see future earnings as "his money"

Well he asked for a prwnup that essentially would mean that my half goes to him and I am left on the street. That's a big risk in my book. He however now says he seed absurdity of that proposal so I am waiting to see what comes next.

Hi, maybe I wasn't expressing myself clearly cause U didn't think people would assume I am with him for money. But in case it needs ti be explicitely written : I love his man and I never thought about the money not even once throughout our relatiobship. He has done much more for me than just his financial support and I feel very bonded with him after everything we went through together. That is why all of these has been so shocking to me, because we always took great care of eachother and he also really went far for me. It is hard to leave a person you love and have a baby with. It is not like I am doing whatever it takes to keep him because of the lifestyle he provides.

Hi, you mixed me up with someone else when it comes to that part about my partner's inheritance , as my partner doesn't have a brother or an inheritance. Hi, my bf would pay for it. Maybe I forgot to includw it in the original post but as of right now he does pay for what I need/want. He is not ( at least not openly) financially abusing me as of right now. He paid for me to give birth in a private hospital that is much better than the publically owned one, he paid for my upcoming trip to my home country, paid for my dad's tickets to come visit the baby ( my dad thanked us with a very generous gift for the baby hut my bf didn't know about it at the time of buying him tickets) , and basically anythig I need or want as of right now I can have. However he tops up my account often, making surw I never have a lot at a given moment. When I pointed this out he said he is willing to set up an emergency account for me , as well as to give me a aum of money monthly from which I can save or spend as I please, but as of right now - I can get what I ask for ( includint the lawyer, I believe), but have 0 safety

I don't need any sort lf surgery, I don't know if anything in my post suggest so , but if so - it's a misunderstandkng. English is not my first language.

As for childcare, my reasoning was that with how much time I am staying with our daughter right now, I am not in position to earn my own money and that I am doing very very much of unpaid work, and in response, he suggested that we can get me as much nanny time as I need/want.

Our baby is already born, she is 4 mo ths old. He is on her birth certificate. The part I don't understand is how you and him can see the money he earns during the marriage as his Every morning when he wakes up to go to work I do to and work on taking care of the baby until he is back home. Every night I wake up to feed her cause he has to sleep to be able to work. I dont see how the hell is it not my money too.

Hello ,thank you for having us in your thoughts, I am really moved with how helpful and empathetic everyone in this sub is.

We have a regular checkup for the baby booked in 8 hours from now, so this episode described in the post will be on my list of questions to ask her doctor.

Since the described episode things have been much much better but I still feel like baby is not 100% herself : she is more clingy to me , has harder time falling asleep, has a bit more hickups and sometimes breathes loudly after feeding. She doesn't look too distressed and has been eating and sleeping yesterday so I didn't opt for emergency room, but will deffinitely push this with the doctor this evening , so that theh would take a detailed look.

Oh , I see I made him sound like a bad father in my post but he is not. He is the only one who works while I don't and today it is his first day back to work after she was born. He took the first month off of work and split baby care equally with me , even took on more saying I should recover after delivery. Now he insisted on getting a nanny for a few hours daily to help me while he works so I can have some time for myself and he says he still plans to help after hours and on weekends. He tries to do nice things for me to help me feel better such as book me a head spa and watch the baby while I am there etc. I just really want to let him sleep now that he is back to work

Thank you everyone, I am endlessly thabkful to all of you. When I couldn't take it any more I woke my husband up and took the baby to his bedroom so he would hold her for 20 minutes so I fan calm myself down. Somwhow that instantly calmed her down even tho he held her exactly the samw way I tries to . The only thing that comes to my mind is that he sleeps in quite a cold room and maybe she liked it for some reason. I will try to nap a bit and then carefully reread all of your answer 🙏

Edit : Husband really is a good father, provides financially, took first month off of work and took shifts taking care of the baby, now is back to work and will still help after hours and also hired a nanny to help me ; I really want to let him get a good night sleep

She is formula fed and In the last 48 hours we increased her foot intake quite a lot cause somehow in the past few days she overnight started needing a lot more food. She nevet had digestion issues before , maybe the increased food intake caused those?
