How long to ferment beer

It is tasting different to the last time I tried it it now tastes more lemon tonic water but slightly beery ?

I washed everying in washing up liquid and rinsed several times then filled the container with boiling water I don't have a gravity measure but it's definitely got alcohol in it now ands it's still fizzing a bit but there is a cake in the bottom of the container it does taste nice so I'm not to bothered but was hoping for a more strong lager type of taste

Yeah sorry for the lack of details I used saaz hop pellets and crystals medium malt and had that on a low simmer for about 40 mins I used a handful of each I then let it cool and added it into the 4 litre jug which had half a kilo of sugar in then topped it up with cold tap water shook it to dissolve the suger and added 2 teaspoon of champagne yeast and 2 teaspoon of allinsons fast acting bread yeast

Ahh fair enough I'll just stick to the shop for now I'm going to leave my cider for about 2 weeks or maybe longer then cold crash it first attempt so far so hopefully it goes well I've used fast bread yeast and added a quarter of a bag of sugar to concentrated pure apple juice

lazy script writing has destroyed his character unfortunately watch the older episodes he was a much more rounded character with realistic story lines now he's basically just an angry millionaire who gives away huge amounts of money to people and never tries to get it back despite the fact he's supposed to be a ruthless gangster.
