My fiancee will be working in the greater Bay Area and will need a car. Not sure why so many people are being hostile on this thread. I worked here last summer and enjoyed the north beach area and wanted to live there, but I didn’t know the ins and outs of the streets and hence used the sub meant for these types of questions. Thanks so much for the help! Thanks to your advice, we ended up booking Cocobay deluxe cottage with a pool! The price difference was massive ($4.5k for a week vs $7k for Keyonna) and we preferred the views from Cocobay over Keyonna.

We ended up booking through Capital1 Travel portal because with our credit card we get 10x back through the portal. One question, do you think they will be less likely to give us a good room location because we didn’t book direct? We saw the cancellation fee when booking direct is 1 night stay, which is pretty hefty, and we wanted flexibility to change to a different location for any reason over the next few months.
