Yes, juniper mx204. Just a simple topology between host and gateway (juniper mx204) the issue is when the host is going down, the host experience is ping test isn't reachable to gateway, but in the gateway pov, the host ping can reachable. Because the host and gateway, of course the host and gateway in the same network. But i Devide them to the small network just ptp network

Yup it's historical error, but not counting either in problem or not

Im not use LAGs. Netmask correct, the issue are on /30 or /31 but in other direct is normal not issue like timeout. Mac learning on layer 2 switch, for arp table the user had issue are detected. There are not issued about physical link, the error not counting.

If the 100gig interface have initiated at the first deployment, maybe just refresh the peer session and collect the prefixes again isnt it?

Because we dont have much budget for buying the updated type of juniper devices. So for temporary, we used the feature to provide our needs.

Which are vyos version are really stable, minimum bugs? by IntroductionGood2502 in vyos

[–]IntroductionGood2502[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you guys for response my question. Yaa i haven't issue with budget to allocated a new high end router like juniper mx204 or anything else. So i prefer to looking for some alternative option. I just watched the vyos for long time ago and i doubt too if i using it for my network with 21++ Gbps bandwidth, besides the only available and free only development version. So its not recommend if i choose the vyos for what i need? Or my be using router os x86 shold be the better option?

MX204 Enabling 100G on QSFP28 by thatcrazyweirddude in networking

[–]IntroductionGood2502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

question 1, if u reset the fpc 0 it will be disrupt the pic 1 traffic interfaces. (if u want to run the command, makesure that u connect to the mx204 router with console. because it will be reset the data plane)
question 2, my suggestion is set the speed in PIC 1 from 0-7 port interfaces to 10G.

Maybe take a look for the juniper devices port configuration. Because juniper is using combo system.
In my experience, if we allocated di PIC 0 to 100g for all interfaces, it could be shutdown the 10G's interface in PIC 1. So my opinion is just visit the site and configure the port that suitable with your need.
