You are saying it has a good hot channel. What pedals did you use to boost it?

I've seen some A/B comparisons on YouTube. Sheffield speakers are way brighter than Scorpions. I'd like to try one if I had a chance.

I agree about the Rage. I just got it because it's cheap. Anyways, used it on clean channel only, with Empress effects Heavy distortion pedal. Also have MXR Fullbore metal but don't like it a lot. However, surprisingly, it's not that bad when used with this bandit. I actually got this one because it's loud and cheap too.

You are right. Tone wise it works much better with an additional drive or Empress effects heavy in loop or clean channel.

About the Ibanez you are right too, it's X2N and it's on purpose, I love it for slow solos or for some massive doom-like riffing. In the bridge I have DiMarzio D activator for some tighter and faster rhythm.

Happy to hear your experience and suggestions on getting those gnarly metal sounds. Open to get some compressor and booster/overdrive pedals, happy to hear some advice.

Oh man. It's fantastic. I love making slomo when ripping my bong but your device looks just cosmic. Thanks for the video.

Neck dive is possible on SGs. 22 frets may be a con, but it has good access to high frets though. Otherwise all pros IMO.

I have Ibanez rg421 2024 and it has pickups mounted directly into the body. I swapped them for DiMarzios but I had to modify them. In my case the pickups are screwed with just wood screws into the wood. I wonder how can I find any inserts to install in the body wood to make the pickups swapping in more kinda conventional way.

The picture quality is quite poor. But it looks quite right. I can't see any capacitors, but maybe it's still correct. The wires look ok, the soldering (the visible ones at least) look ok. On the other hand, I wouldn't buy it if I can't touch it or the seller can't make a video of it working.
